The Sweet Cane Inn was lovely! The inn keeper, Cindy, was personable and the breakfasts she made were delicious. She made the best crepes, Iâve ever tasted too! The owner, John, was very responsive and helpful, as well.
Itâs walkable to the historic downtown but far enough away that itâs a quiet getaway. We stayed 2 nights and would stay here again.
This is the second time we have stayed. It is always nice. Walkable to downtown Natchitoches. Nice area. Easy check-in. Rooms are clean. Staff is always nice. The breakfast was outstanding.
I tried to reach out several times to the owner via phone and email to the numbers provided and each time I received no response back. I did have a person that no longer worked at the property to message me back to say they no longer was employed there and they did provide me a number to the owner, which I called and never receive a call back. Check in was easy, room was large but had very limited seating areas the small bench couch was not comfortable to sit on, no coffee maker in the room, no blow dryer, the bed was uncomfortable due to sinking, curtain for the bathroom door, and the breakfast was good, but looked nothing like the advertisement mentioned.
