We were able to book our room at short notice when accommodation was limited due to weather events. The price was very affordable. The room was excellent. The staff were excellent. Due to the weather disruption. No rentals cars were available. Management allowed us to stay in reception area for over 2 hours until further help arrived. Very much appreciated. Full marks to Management and staff. We plan to stay here next time we visit Nelson.

Unfortunately, our stay was extremely disappointing. When we arrived, the bathroom still had used towels left behind from previous guests, which was very upsetting and unhygienic. On top of that, we found several cockroaches in the room. The bed sheets had visible stains, and the couch and other furniture were clearly dirty, as if the room had not been properly cleaned at all.
