Great Weekend Getaway

Perfect Getaway in New Buffalo!

We had an excellent stay at this beautiful rental in New Buffalo, Michigan. Perfect spot for a quick fall trip with sisters! The location is fantastic—close to downtown, restaurants, and all the charm New Buffalo has to offer. The host was incredibly responsive and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We can’t wait to come back and highly recommend this Vrbo to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-appointed retreat!

Great House!

We stayed with a group of friends for the weekend and it was an amazing house! So close to town, the train station, restaurants and the beach. The owner is very nice and extremely responsive. Definitely recommend and would stay again!

We had a wonderful stay. They house was absolutely beautiful and all the finishes were wonderful. From this location you can walk everywhere and the neighborhood pool is a lot of fun! We would definitely stay at this property again!

Great family stay!

This property was beautiful and worked out perfectly for our family trip. We had 10 people, including two children and an infant and we all fit comfortably. The decor was very modern/pretty and the bathrooms were wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the host was excellent about communicating with me. We also enjoyed the pool (heated and clean, beach towels were provided) everyday we were there. Walking distance to Beer Church, there's a Rainbow Cone within walking distance as well. Quick drive to Three Oaks if you're interested in Journeyman. You can also walk to the beach, but we chose to drive there upon checking out. We recommend this property!

Perfect for our family

This Merchant St. Cottage house worked out well for our three generations family. Grandparents are early risers and slept on the main floor. The preteenagers slept upstairs and enjoyed the loft area. And the parents got caught up on some much needed sleep in the cool and dark basement bedroom. While we didn’t use it there were beach chairs, a cart, and other paraphernalia available. The kitchen was well equipped although we didn’t cook much. The location is perfect with a neighborhood swimming pool for the kiddos. Dining and shopping is just a few blocks away and the beach is about a half mile walk. We had a great time. Thank you!

LOCATION & AMMENITIES!! Fully Equipped Vacation Rental!

Our family with four generations had an amazing time at this property. We have rented several places over the years and this is probably our favorite for a largish family. The property is fully equipped and they have thought of everything. They have beach towels, beach toys, bikes and rafts for outside fun and plenty of dishes, pans, spices and nice knives for fun in the kitchen. The pool is practically next door and the hot tub is ready to go. Town and the beach are extremely walkable--even for the elderly folks in our group. The house itself is broken into nice spaces for a large group. We all loved the back porch and the front porch and we had fun with the pool table. The few issues we had were responded to quickly--within minutes--and resolved. We are already checking our calendar for next year. THANK YOU!

Wonderful weekend

We had a brief stay (2 nights). Loved the accommodations- was decorated amazing! Loved the proximity to town, in such a cute idyllic neighborhood. We didn't use the pool, but hot tub was great at night. Loved the space and we had a great trip!

Wonderful stay!

We love staying at merchant street cottages due to proximity to restaurants and the beach. I really appreciated this one because of all the bathrooms with double sinks and other amenities that really made this property a fantastic one for comfort. This is an impeccably decorated home. Awesome Vacation Rental

Cottage M provided the perfect place for relaxation and family entertaining. The location is perfect for walking to downtown New Buffalo and the beach. Super comfy beds, nice quality towels and linens. The community pool is enjoyable and just one house away. We look forward to returning next year!

Merchant Street cottage M

This was a family vacation. There were 11 attendees, ages 10 to 76. Our cottage was very clean and well appointed. Great location. We were able walk or bike to everything New Buffalo had to offer, beach, shopping, bars and restaurants. A large grocery store was a 5 minute walk. New Buffalo is a very nice little town. Highly recommend staying in a location that is walkable to beach and town.

Great family spot

Wonderful place for a Lake Michigan vacation! The house was well-appointed and beautifully decorated. There was plenty of room for all four generations of our family to either gather together or find quiet spots to branch off. We enjoyed the hot tub and the nearby pool and were able to walk to the beach, the store, restaurants, cute local library, and playgrounds. We also went to the zoo, a boat tour, kayaking, and splashpad - so much to do close by. Mary was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

Such a great weekend trip in New Buffalo!

This house was excellent. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would. We made the easy trek over from Chicago, and the location of this house was ideal. Walkable to town for coffee, restaurants, etc. and the house itself was perfect for three couples. Highly, highly recommend. Also, shoutout to Mary, the property manager who was responsive with the handful of questions we had throughout the weekend.

Very Nice!

The house is very nice, clean, and stocked with all our needs. We enjoyed the proximity to town and the beautiful neighborhood. We slept 6 adults very comfortably and enjoyed having 3 showers as well. The property manager was easy to get ahold of and very prompt with questions. We would definitely stay here again.
