Ideally situated in French quarter. Building a little tired and not soundproofed for street noise which could be considerable and go on late into the night if your room looks out onto the street. However, our room was clean and comfortable. The staff on the front desk, the concierge and the domestic staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The lady who runs the little poolside bar was somewhat abrupt and unfriendly. In conclusion I think this hotel was good value for money and I would stay there again.

If you’re shopping around for a French Quarter hotel…BOOK THIS PLACE. It’s perfect for a weekend trip of fun and food! We had a nice stay at the hotel. We came to celebrate a birthday. It was literally a 2 min. Walk to Bourbon street craziness. But, far enough way that you can sleep in peace & quiet. Parking was $50 a day 😕 but, your car is completely safe in a locked parking garage with an amazing attendants that greeted us each and every time we came & went. The morning complimentary coffee hit the spot. Location is absolutely what sells the place. You literally can’t beat it!! Walk everywhere since driving in The French Quarter is insane. And parking is worse. The staff is so friendly. Really helpful. I loved talking to Joe in the maintenance dept. nice guy. Very knowledgeable of the area. It was an amazing stay & we will be back to this hotel again.

Staff was very friendly and responsive. Loved the morning coffee. Liked the charm of the building especially the courtyard and window shutters. Bathroom was recently updated but showerhead didn’t adjust and toilet was difficult to flush. Carpeting needs a refresh.

Perfect Location with Great Staff!!!

We really enjoyed our stay here and thought it was the perfect location for being just a block away or so from Bourbon Street and all the great places to eat. I found our room location to be quiet. I felt like the staff there was super nice and helpful from valet to front desk. I would say it could use a little updating but really for the price and location this is a great hotel to stay at. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here ten years ago and returned on two visits in April of 2025. Location, location, location. Right in the French Quarter, walkable to sights. While the rooms are still quite comfortable, the entire place is overdue for a refresh, new carpet (better still, no carpet would be better since the Quarter is a party place and who knows what's been spilled on the floor), peeling paint and broken shutters outside. The first room was fine, comfy mattress, though the coffee maker was difficult to access due to a short power cord. Window looked over the garage. The second room was facing the street with plenty of light and a tiny balcony where it was pleasant to sit. To get onto the balcony, however, you had to duck under the open lower window, rather than through an easier access door. That room also was showing lots of wear and tear, though clean and comfortable enough. Not an expensive hotel, so no breakfast, and even though they give you two welcome bottles of water, they don't replenish them each day, that kind of thing. Check in and out was friendly, typical of New Orleans. There is a comfy bar on the premises and a nice pool area. Parking for a fee, but we do not use a car in New Orleans.

A great stay. A few bumps in the road. But the general manager & regional manager addressed the issues promptly! A very comfortable & cool place to stay! Great location(gives you an old New Orleans feel with modern conveniences). Pool is fantastic. The hotel bar is incredible: great bartenders, excellent drinks & good local live music! I was sad to leave!
