This was once a grand hotel. It's still beautiful, but needs some attention. The staff and workers were wonderful. Location is in the heart of the French Quarter which is very convenient. However, the Quarter is not what it used to be. Just my opinion.

The hotel is older, but very clean and well maintained. The staff is amazing. They were friendly and helpful. Hotel is wothin walking distance to most things. Overall we had a great experience.

We had a great overall experience at the hotel—everything from the staff to the common areas and amenities was excellent. The location was convenient, and the service was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The only downsides were related to the restroom and one of the mattresses. The shower box didn’t fully close, which caused water to spill onto the bathroom floor every time we used it. As a result, we had to request extra towels daily to keep the floor dry. Additionally, one of the mattresses in our room was damaged on one side, making it a bit uncomfortable. To be fair, we didn’t report these issues during our stay, and I believe the staff would have taken care of them if we had mentioned it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider returning, especially if these small issues were addressed.

The only problem we had was with parking and that was pretty self induced. I only mention it in. Are someone else does what I did. We got in late so the valet gate was closed. I should have asked when I called about how that would have worked. But I pulled off onto the side of street, my husband walked in and they sent the person out to open the gate and park our car. The hotel was great. We didn’t get rooms with a view but that’s ok. It felt very French Quarter. I love staying in well kept older places. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The last day I went down to the cafe because it was raining. I was not impressed. The floor was filthy, the food was mediocre, but the coffee I had was pretty good. I only ate there because it was raining and didn’t want to join the men at the museum. Much better to go out and explore for breakfast like we did on previous days.

Thank you for the stay. The staff here were awesome, especially the concierge and the dive bar staff Julie and Anthony. Thr hotel was very cute, definitely older and more rustic. The only thing we had issues with in the room was the floor was very old and had a carpet that was seemingly falling apart and was kind of soft and dirty. Definitely needs updating. My bf did not like the carpet/floor at all. Definitely bring slippers if staying here. Other than that everything was great. Could do with an iron in the room too though. But staff and bar were excellent!

Great place to stay when visiting theFrench Quarter. Excellent location. Handy to have a nice bar, restaurant and coffee shop downstairs. Valet parking was also secure in a private garage.
