The front of the property is not clearly marked, key card access only, without 24/7 front desk service. The amenities are at the sister International House Hotel down and around the block. Lots of street noise, barely any curtains, managed with an eye mask and ear plugs. Very poor lighting in the rooms, weird shower set up. Would have rather stayed elsewhere for the cost.

Property indicates more amenities than was available; had to change rooms because of noisy pipes but staff was very amenable and friendly
The style of the room was fantastic and just as shown. So modern and looked great. The shower was pathetic, a tiny trickle at a weird angle and difficult to wash my hair. I am glad I'd read other reviews beforehand about checking. The info provided from the property did not match the experience when I arrived. I arrived late and needed to go to the hotel round the corner to check in and then walk to the property with my luggage. The reception desk in the property was rarely manned in the daytime. There were also problems with TV tuning in the room. I reported it and they did fix it but then on the last night there was another issue, possibly caused by the cleaning of the room and something being disconnected. Overall, comfy and good quality but disappointing for the price I paid.

Checked in and the toilet wouldnt stop flushing every few mins. Told the woman at the desk who said we could change rooms when we returned from our riverboat dinner. Had to walk over to International House where we told the man at the front desk what was going on and he moved us the room next door where the bed is right up against the bathroom wall! Needless to say we still heard the neverending flushing toilet. Went back and asked for an upgrade based on the issues and he said they had no other rooms. Funny, cause we looked online and there were several! Needless to say I went back and said I didn't wanna play room roulette anymore so to just give us a credit. He said he left a note and that it would be up to the manager in the morning. I hope they do something because this is BS!! Plus the room I booked online looks NOTHING like the room I was given - do NOT trust the pictures!! Then dropped bags in the new room only to return to an alarm like noise going on and off non-stop. Now moving to our third room!! OMG! This room has the coffee mugs but no coffee pot! Not to mention we had to walk a block to the International House which owns and manages the Loft 523 each time to try and get things resolved. I give up.
The room was huge and nice! Not a fan of the shower at all!! The thing I didn’t liked was communication on where to go to check in as we didn’t get there till late and there was no attendant in the front desk so we couldn’t get it at all until another person staying there came along and told us where to go which happened to be at a different hotel front desk which was maybe half a block away. Other that location was great maybe little over a mile from the French Quarter.
Only real downside I found was that I didnt have any sort of mini-fridge in the room. So i couldn't keep any drinks or water I bought cool.

Really challenging to find. Description should tell you which hotel to go to for checkin and parking. It’s not the hotel right next to the units but down a block and across a busy street. And there is no where to park to load and unload luggage before you have your car parked. Got a parking ticket in 5 mins trying to get our luggage to the car. Tub and shower were cool but bad water pressure. Bed was comfortable. But just not as cool a property as it looked online.
Loved the egg shell bathtub. Favorite part of stay. Central location for walking. From outside looked sketchy and had to check in at hotel around the block. The staff there was excellent and very hospitable, but the occasional staff at the Loft was unfriendly and didn’t even greet you when entering. Definitely a contemporary room and felt cold with cement floors. Yet that tub was amazing. First night very loud party upstairs in penthouse about 1am.
