Great hotel on St Charles

A very comfortable hotel with a unique New Orleans flavor. The staff people were professional and friendly. Our dog was welcomed but there is a pet fee.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is beautifully decorated and very clean. It is incredibly convenient. We walked to excellent restaurants easily from the hotel. Though we chose to walk, the street cars in front of the inn would have been another great option for getting around. The fenced in, gated parking lot behind the property made us feel very safe during our stay. And though we were close to everything, it was very quiet in our room, so we got a good night’s sleep. Our only qualm with the inn was that the two beds in our room were small full beds rather than queen sized. They really weren’t big enough for two adults, even teenagers like our kids. So our boys slept on the floor & let my husband & me each have a bed to ourselves. This was probably in the property description, but we missed it until we got to the room. Even with that, though, our kids were fine & we enjoyed our stay. There were plenty of extra blankets for the boys to make pallets on the floor. The rooms are well laid out & well stocked with soap, shampoo, clean towels, etc. Having an extra sink at the entrance was nice for 4 people getting ready in the morning. The mini-fridge & the coffee maker (well stocked) were both really nice. The furniture was very elegant and gave off a New Orleans vibe, and it was nice having a desk in the room. We would stay here again.

Wonderful, quaint lodging along the peaceful St Charles Avenue. Secure parking, and access to a restaurant onsite. Continental breakfast is simple yet enough to start the day. Streetcar provides access from uptown to the French Quarter without much cost or hassle.

This property is conveniently located on St Charles st which is close to magazine street and downtown. I love that parking is included and is the reason I am a repeat customer. The beds are comfortable and continental breakfast is included as well

Great hotel choice!

Located in very close proximity to Touro. Was scheduled for major surgery the next day. Had to arrive at hospital at 5:00 AM. We live 2 hours away, so staying close was a necessity. Quite convenient if early admission required. Has a very nice restaurant with free parking as well. Room clean and spacious. Would absolutely stay there again!

I'd definitely stay here again!

I loved this inn! I was told it was originally a home in the 1800s. It was very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and it was a short walk to a streetcar stop. I'd definitely choose to stay here again!

The St. Charles Inn

A very nice older hotel with a friendly staff in a quiet neighborhood. The hotel is well maintained and has private secure parking, which is included in the rate. The location provides easy access to the downtown areas via the street cars which pass right in front of the hotel.

Best parking, clean and still New Orleans vibe

Free gated parking is basically unheard of in New Orleans, then the hotel was clean , rooms nice and st Charles is such a cool street to stay on . I’ll be back

Fantastic!

I was here for a business trip - stayed one night. It is a cozy property in a very nice area, quite at night, nice couple of restaurants around and the check in staff was very friendly and pleasant. Great value.
