The coffee shop was amazing! Large roof top pool (not heated). Very modern and clean inside. Location was PERFECT with the streetcar stop right outside the hotel. Easy walk to the French Quarter with lots of souvenir type shoppes on the way down Canal Street and others. We stayed Tuesday-Thursday right after Mardi Gras and never once felt unsafe or thought Bourbon Street area was "dirty". Everyone at the hotel, streetcar stops, Ubers and businesses we went to were sooooo nice and friendly with lots of tips on things to see and how to save money. Cajon Pride Swamp Tour with Big Joe was amazing--NOT a tourist trap! Blue Oak BBQ was absolutely divine and a gorgeous and easy walk down to the City Park. Then a quick streetcar ride back to this hotel. The alligator bites (half fried and half blackened) and corn dip at Mambos on Bourbon were worth going back to twice in our short stay. Can't wait to go back and stay longer!

I recently stayed 3/20-3/22 with my partner and upon arriving the building was very nice, clean, and welcoming. From Valet to the people at the front desk. Everyone was nice. It is about an 8-minute walk to Bourbon St which was VERY convenient. The neighborhood was pretty safe too. We returned to our hotel from Bourbon St both nights at 11pm and still felt safe. Mainly because it was not a long walk and there were still many people out walking along Canal St. THE ROOMS: The room was very spacious for two people and clean. The bathroom was beautiful with two sinks and LED mirror lighting. MY ONLY COMPLAIN was the shower had half a door but very spacious so you didn't throw water out and my main issue was there was no hot water. From 1-10, the time I was there the water stayed at level 5/6 of hotness. I had to shower in under 2 minutes because it was not enjoyable especially being already breezy outside. Other than that the stay, staff, location, and rooms were 10/10!

We stayed for four nights. Our room was never serviced or cleaned properly, if at all. Towels were never left. Coffee was never restocked. When I tried to call downstairs no one ever answered. I had to go to front desk to wait to ask for towels. Even when we’re were leaving we seemed to surprise the front desk help as he was about to ride up in the elevator with other guest. After he did address us he went ahead and rode the elevator with what appeared to be two females also staying hotel. As we were waiting in our car, we never saw an additional staff member. Sitting at the bar one evening, I had to ask for a menu, ask for my order to be taken, ask for the ticket, and ask for change. The service was terrible! Expedia had this rated 9 out of 10, that’s why I choose it. Who makes these ratings?

Lets start with third party rate the Jung as a 8 to 9 point HOTEL BUT IS MORE, AN 5 TO 6 STAR. some of the staff not that friendly and communcation issue with housekeeping. More than half the TV channels, where out with no signal popping up on Tv screen. parking not explain clearly. staff at bar rude and very willing to help or exchage larger bill to small.
