It could have been due to tiredness after our incoming flight was delayed, the “Pelham” sign was prominently displayed but the main entrance wasn’t. The check-in process could have been better, as the associate told me I should have received a text and then waited for me to review it AND complete it, instead of just doing while I was there at the desk. Although small, the room was relatively decent. No bells and whistles, just basic. There was a full-length mirror that lit up and a hanging lighting fixture over the bed closest to the window. The refrigerator (no microwave) was located to the right of the bed and wasn’t easy to access. The best part of the room was the shower head, and the water came out with such force that it was extremely relaxing. Would I stay again? I’m not sure….

Clean and comfortable

We stayed in the King room annex. The room was quite large, the bed and pillows were comfortable. Very clean. The bathroom was roomy, but the shower pressure was something to be desired. Yes, this room did have windows, but you only had a view of the brick wall beside us and it was so close, you couldn't tell what the weather was. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lobby was clean. They allowed us to store our luggage before check in as we were very early. Having a fridge and keurig coffee maker was perfect for our short stay. Location was perfect, close to everything but still quiet at night. I would stay here again.

Pay attention to the fact this is a windowless hotel. If that isn’t a factor for you, it is a perfect little place to stay. It wasn’t for me.

Safe, beautiful hotel in perfect location

Stayed at The Pellum with my husband and 2 teenage kids for 2 nights before our cruise. Location was PERFECT for walking and seeing all that NO has to offer. We did use our car to go to the zoo and drive through the Garden District but everything else was an easy walk or you could use the streetcar. Felt very safe and loved the charm and vibe of this boutique hotel. Be prepared to pay ALOT in parking and fees. Even if you don’t use valet - self parking is about $65 a day! Only complaints about hotel was- check in process was slow and daytime staff was not the friendliest!

Modern, roomy, clean, needed more lighting but would stay here again. We used their discount code for 2 tours. Our 2Q with window was facing the Best Western (boring but quiet) It had 2 cubbies/shelves that needed a light, especially above the coffee station. It was easy access to parade routes, casino and Ruby Slipper for breakfast. Street noise not a problem but the LOUD "screamer/cryer" down the hall was! The other night was quiet so I blame that guest, not hotel.
