Facile sentier de marche directement dans la ville! Juste un mile au nord de la rue Main via un court trajet en voiture d'un mile ou Ă  25 minutes de marche sur la belle Walkill Valley Rail Trail. Obtenez le meilleur de tout ce spacieux 3 br / 2 salle de bain complĂšte toute nouvelle construction! La maison a une vue imprenable sur la montagne Mohonk et les Gunks, et se trouve directement sur la piste ferroviaire sur la randonnĂ©e d'un mile de la ville belle et historique de New Paltz. À quelques pas de la pittoresque Dodds Farm donnent, et les 23. 7 miles de randonnĂ©e / vĂ©lo qui commence juste Ă  la porte arriĂšre. Lovely sunsets each night over the ridge from the big windows in the living room; the rail trail into town is behind the backyard allowing for ease of access, while the trees in summer provide privacy; the town has 3 legitimate vegan places to eat; and, of course, New Paltz is on the edge of dozens of beautiful hiking trails and carriage roads. The house was exceptionally clean; all the appliances worked well; a surplus of towels was appreciated; and all of the board games one would want to enjoy as the sun went down were available. The owners responded quickly and effectively and left us mercifully to ourselves, while making check in and check out easy.

Great location

Lovely spacious clean home fully equipped . My only complaint is the internet. Worked when we first checked in then lost it. We checked the tv and it said full signal but tv not connected. It did not work with our own personal devices either. Weather was a bit iffy and we hoped to entertain the younger children ( two young girls) with a movie night. There were DVDs but not really movies appropriate for them. Other than that the place was great! Very close to attractions and very nice that we walked across the street and picked fresh strawberries at the farm.

Great getaway

We loved staying at this cottage. Beautiful view of the funks. Across from a working farm. Super quiet slept so well on the comfortable beds. The kitchen is well equipped and the house very close drive to New Paltz. The Primary bedroom shower head didn’t provide great water pressure was the only issue otherwise fantastic!

Rock the Ridge Weekend

Fantastic! The location to the shuttles for the race was perfect. It made going back and forth during the day so easy for my family. It was great to have a 'home base' and be able to truly relax after a 50 Mile run.Thank you!

Cozy, yet spacious home.

We loved our stay in this cozy house near New Paltz. Even thought there were two families and 6 of us, it did not feel crowded, and everyone had space to stretch out and enjoy the views or the myriad different types of entertainments. The place was clean and the kitchen well stocked with basics, but also enough cooking supplies that we felt able to stay in and prepare our own meals. We would definitely come again, and are already eyeing next year's Thanksgiving break.

The house was beautifully appointed, clean and accommodated myself and two other couples. The house also had everything you could possibly need in terms of cooking and use of bathroom. The location was close to town and was quiet and serene. We thoroughly enjoyed being here. Thank you.

House in the Gunks!

Our Christmas family get-away was truly wonderful given the lovely home we were able to spend it in! The location was great with the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail directly out the backyard, close proximity to New Paltz and the view of the Gunks was spectacular! The house had everything (and more!) one would need from a fully-stocked kitchen - comfortable beds and linens - an abundance of towels - tv's in all the rooms and a wide assortments of games for all ages. The hosts communicated well from the minute we reserved the house. We would give this house 10 stars if able! Thank you Laurie and Brett for sharing your home with us!!

Beautiful house with view of the mountains, next to bike trail and near town with all the amenities

We have stayed here 7 years in a row and every year it’s a perfect getaway. It is right on the rail trail (which has been improved) and a few miles from the town of New Paltz and a place to rent kayaks. It has all the amenities one would ever need and the hosts have always been responsive.

I quiet get away

I took my family here for a quiet vacation for a week and it matched perfectly. It was close to main street and other attractions. The view was amazing, you can sit on the couch and watch the sun set. The beds were comfy,and the place was amazingly clean. The only con i can find is that the steps on the porch didnt have hand rails which was hard for my parents, but was not a deal breaker. I will keep this place in mind for another trip in the future.

Fantastic. Open floor plan kitchen dining room living room. Comfy couch. Large living room. Wall to wall carpeting. TV in ever bedroom. RokuTV in living room with all the apps and Airplay and Google cast. Great wifi. Shampoo wall dispenser both bathrooms. Touch bedstand lights with usb ports. Automatic porch light for late night return home. Digital thermostat. Coffee maker, tea kettle and Keurig. Memory foam beds and good bedding. Biking/ walking trail right behind house. Very nicely decorated. Sunscreen by door which was highly appreciated. And many other nice touches. Could not have asked for a better VRBO. We were in area for a family reunion at Jellystone and saw the cabins that some of our family had; this VRBO is a 100x nicer than there!

Spectacular Mountain View (and so much more!)

Loved waking up and enjoying my coffee just staring at the view. Home is beautiful and immaculately clean! Right on the rail trail where we enjoyed hikes and bike riding! Went strawberry picking at the farm across the road. Most importantly, our hosts were welcoming, knowledgeable and flexible. Already planning future visits!

Wonderful home in New Paltz

I stayed here for three nights in the fall. The owners were gracious and helpful in their communications, the home was perfectly appointed, and the location is superb. You can see the Mohonk Preserve from the front windows, and the rail trail passes through just down the road. Absolutely a wonderful place to stay. Thank you!

Perfect house - New Paltz has so much to offer

Two couples, longtime friends, spend a most wonderul time at this property. Laurie and Brett were truly amazing to work with from the very beginning and provided many suggestions as to where to hike/bike and dine. The house has a stunning view of the Gunks and one looks over a working oranic farm with a "picking garden" for the public., directly across the street. The house is lacking nothing! We biked (so many choices), visited Storm King and enjoyed two delightful dinners. Highly recommend.

Fun, active getaway

Great property with beautiful views and close to amazing bike paths and hiking! We gathered with old friends for a few days of activities during the day, and cooking, eating, and hanging out in the evenings, and this was the perfect place for it. The house was clean and comfortable, and very well air-conditioned. And we had a great view of the Ulster County Fair fireworks through the front windows!

Great for a couples getaway!

We rented this house for a couples getaway and would definitely stay again! Less than a mile into New Paltz with tons of things to do and a short drive to wineries and historic sites. The house itself was immaculate and had everything we could need, especially in the kitchen. A huge living room with space to spread out and 3 bedrooms with queen beds - what’s not to love?!?
