We have stayed at the Inlet for over 10 years. This is our first stay at this particular unit. The unit itself was clean, partially updated, but overall nice. The problem that I had was a ring doorbell which was ok at first until I received a call from the property manager (within the first 24 hours) saying the owner had called them saying I had a pet which would have breached my contract. With that being completely false information that leads me to believe the owner must be monitoring the ring doorbell. I have no idea what they saw or heard possibly someone walk by I have no idea but the property manager needs more valid information from the owner before they call and email paying guests because that really was very frustrating every time I walked by the doorbell I felt like I was being watched after that. I also have always had a parking spot in the garage with every unit I have rented at the inlet and this particular unit did not have one and guest parking gets full and there is no parking except on the complete opposite side of the Minorca property. Also the inlet pool was closed and we were never made aware and it was very inconvenient not to ever be told that in advance. We will continue to stay at the Inlet but I donât think we will stay at this unit again due to these circumstances.
My family and myself enjoyed our stay. The best parts were the view, the pool we had access to, how comfortable the main bed was and the air conditioning. We were disappointed that the pool closest to us was closed due to renovations, but there was another pool on the property that we had access to with a short walk. We also tried reaching out to the property manager via the Vrbo messenger and also during our stay with some unanswered questions, but were either redirected somewhere else or took a day to get back to us. Also, there weren't curtains in the master bathroom and living, so the sun was very intense each morning. They say the windows are tinted, but they really are not.
