The rooms were clean and comfortable, and a reasonable size for a NYC hotel. The location was much more quiet and peaceful than locations closer to Time Square, but still easily walkable to Broadway and other midtown attractions. Being just a couple blocks from Grand Central also meant we could easily take the subway to anywhere further out. The staff was very friendly at helpful all throughout our stay.

We have stayed at 70 Park Ave. several times and I think it is a very nice property. The Bellman is very pleasant. The bed is very comfortable and we always splurge on the Park Avenue view room, which is a very nice size. I have mentioned this before—I don’t understand why you don’t have grab bars in the bathtub showers in the rooms overlooking Park Avenue. For instance, room 915. It is a pretty big step over the side of the Jacuzzi tub and I would just think you’d want to have people be able to grab onto something. That is my only suggestion. We hope to visit again soon.

I liked the convenience of walking to Grand Central Station for the subway and trains. Also the area is very safe and quiet. However the room I had stayed in for one night was knackered, shabby and outdated. The staff were nice and friendly despite the hotels overall tired interior space.
