This is my favorite hotel in the area. I also love its proximity to the Lincoln Tunnel, which makes getting in and out of the city very easy.

Hotel itself was nice with a good central location. Room was clean, reasonsable ammenities, although a bit small. Service in resturtant was good, but front desk reception was mixed / somewhat blunt. Didnt appreciate being hit with an "Urban Fee" at check-in. If this is some form of mandatory tax the blend it into the overall upfront price, if it isnt mandatory then let visitors optout.

Very Disappointing Stay – Privacy and Cleanliness

Our stay at the Arlo Hotel was extremely disappointing. Despite clearly placing a “Do Not Disturb” request and verbally confirming that we did not want housekeeping, a staff member entered our room without permission and left the door halfway open. Even worse, they attempted to re-enter again while we were not dressed. This was a serious violation of our privacy and completely unacceptable. On top of that, the room was not properly cleaned upon arrival. We found someone’s toenail on the floor, which made us question the overall cleanliness of the room. For a hotel in this price range, that level of hygiene is simply not okay. We expected a safe, clean, and respectful environment, but instead felt uncomfortable and disrespected throughout our stay. There was no meaningful apology or effort to make things right. For the reputation this hotel has, our experience fell far below expectations. We will not be staying here again and would not recommend it to others
