Great Central Location

I always stay here when working in NYC as it is minutes from Grand Central Station and the rooms are great and the staff super nice. The coffee and lounge on the top floor is nice too.

Definitely not above average.

Nobody greeted or checked us in , we utilized the self check in. However checking out, we left a key at the desk and kept going but I guess it seemed c as to what was happening. Is express check out something they never heard of? If I checked in with no help why do I need to check out with help or criticism. “Have a nice day” would be sufficient.
