We had reserved and paid for two rooms months ago. The property only had record of one room and it took 45 minutes to rectify the problem while we sat in a tiny crammed lobby with all of our luggage. I’ve stayed in 10 different hotels in Manhattan and this is by far the tiniest most cramped room. The layout was incredibly inconvenient. We literally could not open one suitcase. The shower door leaked water all over the floor. They never brought enough towels and we had to request and wait for towels every single day. We were double charged for holding our luggage. The process for retrieving our luggage was a mess. It took forever, and one set of luggage was completely forgotten about. I will never stay there again. There are many hotels in the area at the same price point that are much better. I recommend you do a little shopping and go elsewhere.

Staff were really helpful and friendly. Location was good between Herald Square and Penn Station/Madison Square Gardens. Probably just short of 10 mins to Times Square. Some good coffee/bagel shops nearby and bars and restaurants. Hotel was clean, hotel rooftop bar was nice as well. My reason for marking it down 1 star was that the room was quite small and cramped for 4 people. But appreciate its New York and thats probably to be expected.

The room wasn’t ready until 4:30 pm. The house keeping didn’t turn up on the first 2 days and moreover the hotel blocks $50 per day at bulk for entire stay and only returns 2-3 days after end of your stay. Rest good

Room was cleaned to a very high standard each day. Reception were friendly and efficient, as were the breakfast staff. The hotel location is a perfect base to explore some of NYC’s iconic sites, either by foot or using one of the nearby public transport hubs.

Overall disappointed as I had just stayed at a Hilton the days preceding and had amazing service. This location has different policies for Hilton Honors members separate from other locations which is very confusing and while every Hilton I’ve stayed at previously has been very busy, everyone took the time to make sure the stay was comfortable and everything was handled well - unfortunately it was not the case at this location.

Staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating, they kept our luggage after check out for a while at no charge. Room was great, clean, very comfortable bed and pillows. Large enough given NYC known for smaller/compact space, but it was truly great for the money we have spent. Location was ideal! Great mini bar, reasonably priced as well. Couldn’t see the rooftop cause my daughter is underage but that’s how it goes for most rooftops on NYC. Coming back again!
