20 minute wait for the elevator. Rooms are tiny. Onsite hotel restaurant includes a mandatory service fee that equals 20% of the bill and there is still another line requesting gratuity FOH. Plan about an hour to get your car from valet after checking out.

Dirty. Room smelled moldy. Malfunctioning A/C, lack of towels, rude staff, NO room service unless requested (but was unaware this was the policy). Used Expedia for first time in years as the discount for a week at the hotel was over $1500. Even so, rates on wknd were similar to much newer and better hotels on the same block. Stayed here 4 times past 2 years; definitely a noticeable decline in service and the property. Not recommended!

The washcloths were terrible. They were actually ripping the Manager had to bring them up to me after I asked twice the shower water pressure was very poor. The service there is poor. It has changed tremendously.

Really close to the subway, staff were super nice and helpful. Parking rate through hotels.com is very competitively priced! Car is valeted right next to hotel, but there is a confusing lack of signage about this. Hotel room was clean, but fair amount of city noise through the windows and from the hallway with other guests coming and going, but standard for NYC I’d say. Great price overall, too

Not-so-good 2nd experience!

The room was on the 2nd floor and it kept shaking every few minutes (Subway). Bedsheets had couple of holes in it. I was there for 2 nights but the staff did NOT clean my room after first night and did not provide fresh towels for the next day. Certainly will look for other accommodation for my next trip!

I didn’t receive internet for the majority of my first stay I couldn’t get any work done nor could I log on for zoom classes. And my room was next to an elevator. So I couldn’t get any sleep.

Worn out and run down room. Toilet ran continuously, reported it to front desk but it was not fixed. Hotel did not make up room, and it took until 11:45 pm to get towels from housekeeping. Chair coverings worn almost through, room was generally banged up. There was something oily on the windowsill area. Bad stay, would not return or recommend.

The Room was ok & bed was ok also, King. But the Appearance was terrible, the chairs in the room was all tore up, like someone pulled the leather off both chairs & I would've like if you guys know, THEY DONT PROVIDE WASHCLOTHES, NO MORE. WHICH I HAD TO GO OUT & BUT. ALSO THE TEMPERATURE MONITOR WAS DIRTY, SO I HAD TO CLEAN IT. PLEASE NEXT TIME SPEAK TO THEM ABOUT THEIR CHAIRS IN ROOM. I TOOK PICTURES ALSO. VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS HOTEL. I ASED FRONT DESK CONCIERGE WHAT HAPPENED & I DIDN'T EVEN HAVE TOWELS IN MY ROOM. I HAD TO ASK & THATS HOW I FOUND OUT ABOUT THE NEW CHANGE.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience was too bad to ignore. This was hands down the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The pictures online are completely misleading — the room looked nothing like what was advertised. I understand it's New York, but this room should’ve been at least $100 cheaper for what we got. Check-in Experience: I was greeted politely at the front desk — no complaints there. BUT the valet? Completely disrespectful. The light-skinned guy with the shortcut who works afternoons/overnight seriously needs training on how to talk to people. Very rude and unprofessional. Also, they don’t tell you this upfront, but if you valet your car, you better request it 30-40 minutes in advance. Huge inconvenience. Shoutout to the morning valet guys (two light-skinned dudes) — y’all were cool and professional. Y’all deserve a raise. The Room: Let’s talk about this dirty room. I booked a suite, so basic essentials like towels and washcloths should have been included. There was only ONE towel and absolutely no washcloths. I checked in on Friday — by Saturday morning at 9 AM, still no washcloths. When I asked, the staff said it would be an hour wait. The same guy I asked was later seen outside smoking — clearly, priorities are off. The room was clearly rushed and not properly cleaned. If I hadn’t brought my own cleaning supplies, I honestly would’ve left and found another hotel. Final Thoughts: 1 star is me being nice. I would not recommend this place to anyone
