The staff at the desk were very nice, professional, and helpful - they were definitely 5 stars! But clearly things have changed with management since I stayed there a few years ago. For example, they no longer provide bath robes and slippers as before, but this has NOT been updated on their website. In any event, price was fair for New York, and I would stay again if I need a room in the Park Slope area. I'll remember to bring my own slippers next time....

In general the reviews I read are accurate. I asked for a quiet room and was very happy with a 7th floor room away from the elevator. The staff is truly nice and genuine. Agreed that the bed was a bit over-worn but it was not an issue for me. Simple, generally clean, warm. It checks all the boxes if you're not expecting too much.

The room was okay. Somebody was play music all day even in the middle of the night when they decided to turn the music. The bed wasn’t comfortable and the small body wash didn’t last my whole trip. Had to go to the front desk to pick the body wash. They didn’t have anyone to bring it up

Place was fine over all, but check in isn't until 4. They'll let you in early for a $35 fee which I opted for but then was told I'd have to wait 10 mins so we just ended up waiting until after 4. The bed pillows are absolutely horrible so bring your own
