Convenient to everything midtown. Clean. Rooms were perfect for sleep and shower then out the door for sightseeing. The front desk staff was very friendly, poviding early check in, bag storage before check in and after check out.

This hotel was exactly what we were hoping for. Close to all the Broadway theatres. Quiet room. Very clean room. Furniture could use an update but really how often are you spending in the room?! Took my daughter to see some shows for her birthday and it was the perfect location to everything. Would definitely stay again.

Simple but clean and friendly hotel. Staff were helpful when we needed things. We loved the central location and as long as you can deal with a bit of noise (it is the city that never sleeps after all) then this is perfect. We had an amazing time.

It felt like stepping back in time with all of the original wood. It was beautiful. I loved that it hadn't been modernized in all gray and white like most places.The room was clean and comfortable, and it was quite a bit larger than I had anticipated. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Great location! I'll definitely book again if ever back in the city.

I booked a queen size bed with a room that had a little seating area. At check in they gave me a tiny room with a full size bed with no sitting area. The check in staff said that it was a European queen which is absurd as I grew up in Germany and go back regularly. I had to prove the room I booked and then they moved me to a a regular size room but still a “European Queen”. My wife came later on a different flight and wouldn’t stay in the hotel as the bed was too lumpy and old for her back. She left the next morning and flew home.

Budget friendly, superb location!

To get your head down to sleep rather than lounge about in your room type hotel. For us being four, the room was literally two beds in it and a bathroom but we had enough room for our suitcases and all the paraphernalia that comes with holidaying. It was just a short stay in NY before moving on to another stay which was an actual holiday rather than city sightseeing. The hotel is slap bang in the middle of everywhere we wanted to go so location was what sold us. It was perfect! It was however loud at night (which we expected anyway!), the air conditioning unit was right next to one of the beds (which were a little uncomfortable), but we were so tired from our days out and jet lagged, we knew nights would be a bit difficult/restless!!! Overall if you want somewhere that is well priced, has a brilliant location for Times Square, Broadway, together with lots of places to visit, I’d definitely recommend it. If, however, you want luxury, I wouldn’t. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were welcoming and friendly and we felt safe. If we visit NY again, I would stay here without hesitation!

Room was very comfortable, great location. My only complaints would be: not much shelf space in the bathroom for toiletries and A/C is a window unit which didn't seem to be doing much when the blinds were closed. I was there on an extremely hot August weekend, so this might not be an issue in cooler months. Still, would definitely consider staying again.

This is a reasonably priced hotel right in Times Square. It could not be more convenient for travelers who have come to see Broadway shows. It's an older building with small rooms but well-maintained.

Perfect spot to rest when visiting Manhattan and time square. Easy to get to from EWR with coach shuttle drop off nearby. If it had a bar fridge I would give 6 stars.

Great location, but small beds that sagged to the middle. When we left our bags to explore before our flight out, they just told us to put them in a hallway near others. No tickets and no accountability for which bags belong to which people.
