Location cant be better if you want times square and the theatre district but dont want to blow your whole budjet. European custom heard many accents and languages so was very happy. Friendly helpful and our room was very clean - only thing i dont rate was the lifts they look a bit unloved

Our bathroom window faced a rehearsal space for the upcoming Broadway musical revival of Pirate of Penzance. It was a glorious stay and the staff were very accommodating.

Excellent hotel right next to Times square. Room was spacious and clean. Joey on the front desk is the best hotel receptionist i have met , always happy and very knowledgeable of the area. I have been twice to this hotel and enjoyed both stays. Joe

The Hotel is in a great location. Right off Times Square but out of the craziness. The room was not quit what we thought it would be though. It was bare bones. The bathroom was so incredibly timy that you had to stand and shift just to wipe yourself. The mattresses were like rocks. So ungodly horrible to sleep on. The dinky air conditioner in the room barely kept it cool. They did not inform us that we would be awoken each morning at 7am by the crew working in the hallway immediately outside our door. They also cut our power multiple times.

Front desk employees all professional and offer suggestions and insight to the area. The hotel is close to time square, broadway, radio city and so much more. Rooms clean and comfortable but wish had a fridge and microwave but not a deal breaker will definitely rerurn

The St. James is a basic hotel and exactly what we were looking for clean, comfortable and affordable for a one night stay to see a couple of shows and walking distance to restaurant row. The front desk was friendly and accommodating for an early check in.
