Cons - no microwave in room , has to go to 3 floor to use one - no closet - no refrigerator or microwave in room - 90 dollars extra at check in for a voucher ( wasn’t asked for & you have to purchase the 90$ voucher) - no roof top as stated Pros -Respectful staff -Near 3 subways walking distance - hotel located in a good location.

I love this location and their staff is fantastic from the front desk, to the restaurant to housekeeping. With all the compliments on the team, I did struggle a bit during my stay. The in room TV remote would not allow me to shut off the screen, the tv had to be physically disconnected by facilities late at night because the buttons didn’t work. The lighting system in the room the options that were for the nigh lamps would not turn off and the bulb had to be unscrewed. On three separate occasions myself and other guests thought we were going to be stuck on the elevator that takes you up to the lounge, restaurant area. The elevators not only rattled loudly but it felt like it was falling. All around a lovely hotel in need of some love.

Wonderful except for tv issue upon arrival that Engineer Will fixed promptly! It should be noted Will is a hidden jewel, phenomenal customer service!!!! If upper management does not know his name - please call me! He is the prime example of what you want Moxy to represent! I stayed at the Moxy off Ann Street in the Financial District during NYC Marathon weekend, and it was an excellent experience. The location couldn’t have been better — I was able to sleep in a little before catching the train (just two stops) to the ferry for Staten Island on race morning. The staff were super friendly and approachable, and the room was clean, comfortable, and just the right size for a solo traveler or couple. It had all the basic amenities I needed for a short getaway. There are also plenty of great food spots nearby, and the train is just a short walk away, making it easy to explore the city. The overall vibe of the hotel was really chill and social — I met all kinds of people visiting for the marathon and other events. I’d definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a convenient, fun, and comfortable stay in lower Manhattan.
