I have stayed in earlier at the that time the room Interior was almost new , there were sky lights on bed and VR headset. This time I booked though third party website, room interior was just fine, no VR headset, skylights were not working . Most annoying thing was noise coming from bed as soon as one changes side while sleeping.

Overall experience was standard and nothing really stood out too much, there were a few challenges but I was accommodated. There is a robot concierge that was only really useful as a front desk enhancement as most recommendations were clearly from search engine results. Good for the price point.

The rooms were clean. However, since the building is on 8th Avenue, it wasn't quiet, but this was not a big problem as you get used to it over time. The real disturbance was the Internet connection. It was not good, and you needed to refresh the connection again and again. The staff were helpful and kind. The location is amazing, you can find whatever you want. Easy access to transportation, cafes, restaurants, lively streets, etc.

It is in the heart of central park. The rooms and kitchens were clean. The bathroom shower could have been a little cleaner. Definitely recommend shower shoes. Also, I did notice bunks arent as private. The tops have been removed from the top bunks and the sides have been removed. This prevents it from being dark. The lights are on and off depending on who is in the room. They do offer sleep mask and ear plugs which does help. Overall, its a great place to nap if you plan to be away most of the day.
