This was the perfect location for our trip to New York City. We found that the staff was friendly, polite, and professional. Just off Central Park, you can see Time Square down the street from the front door of the hotel. We love the location, room size and the condition of the hotel, not to mention how safe it was to get around to Madison Avenue, fifth Avenue and all the fantastic sites we wanted to see. I would highly recommend staying here or their sister hotel next-door WestHouse Hotel. We had the greatest trip to NYC and the perfect stay. Thanks for everything, we will be back.

The rooms were fine. But they must have been short staffed. There was no one available when I checked out so I did the Express check out. I have called 2 times requesting a statement as there are some unexplained charges on my credit card. Have yet to receive a response after 2 weeks.

Paid a fortune for a deluxe queen room, and there’s absolutely no way they were queen beds !! They definitely full size ! Then we had to go to the front desk at 10 pm on the first night as we had no hot water, had to go back down at 6 am and still nothing ! Had 4 of us to get showered and off to scheduled activities we had so finally so therefore I had to purchase a second room just so we could shower !!

The room is need of work. VERY LOW WATER PRESURE IN SHOWER! window blinds broken. Noise is a problem, the heater is noisey The cars and sirens, Honking and people outside our door. Missing some bare hotel necessities such as water, pen, paper. Come on for the price per night!

The carpet in the room was disgustingly dirty No complementary tea or coffee in the room Three people staying in a room and only two towels stocked in the bathroom And the worst part of our stay, Was that there was only one working elevator at the busiest time on Thanksgiving weekend and we had to take the staircase from the fourth floor up and down for the two nights that we stayed there not to mention one of the guests that was staying with us just recently had a hip replacement I would never book a stay at this hotel, or recommend it to any family or friends.

There was no breakfast provided. The staff was not helpful. We had multiple problems. Arrived on Saturday night and our rooms were not ready until 1am on Sunday but they charged us for Saturday anyway. They said they were waiving a destination charge, but then charged me anyway. When I tried to call, I cannot even get an answer. Scammers. We will never stay there again or recommend it. Paid over 1000$ for 2 rooms for a night we couldn’t even get in for and they would not refund.

The staff was the worst I have ever encountered anywhere in my life and the rooms were equally as nasty. Not only were there not enough staff to support the amount of guests leading to an 30+ minute line every time that you had to speak to someone; the staff members were rude, unhelpful, and clearly did not care about a horrible guest experience. We were given incorrect information 3 different times, by 3 different people, we were then given the incorrect room number leading us to try to access someone else's room, and then there was poop on the toilet, the sinks were molded, and the sheets were stained. I'm not even convinced the bathroom was cleaned at all. When we attempted to speak to someone about this issue to have it cleaned we were repeatedly told the manager was unavailable and had to wait at the desk until said manager was called to sign for a package (miraculously was available for that!) This was a bucket list trip for my sister who is on hospice care and the things we experienced were unsanitary and unsafe even for a "healthy" person. At every turn this hotel was a disappointment and I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. It didn't do any good expressing our concerns to the hotel, so hoping sharing our experience will deter others from booking here to save your trip! There are so many better options in New York where the hotels are not only affordable, but also clean, and helpful. Fun bonus - my sister and I both left with a rash after staying here.
