The hotel itself was nice and near subway station. The front desk was courteous and helpful. They had evening wine and crackers every day but you had to go early if you wanted to crab some of that cheese and crackers. The reasons I deducted a star was the breakfast (lots of pastries and sweets but no eggs or warm meals); and the housekeeper didn’t make up the room then once I notified the desk they sent her to do it but was already late so we asked just for some clean towels but one had a black hair on it and another was torn. Had some higher expectations considering the price we paid.

Alison and Merlin were extremely great! Their service was beyond my expectation. The hotel is ok, a bit too dark. The rooms were filled with the scent of marijuana which wasn’t the fault of the hotel but inconsiderate guests perhaps.

I am honestly not one to leave reviews, but I had to because my fiancé and I had such an amazing experience with this hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming from check in to check out. The area felt safe with a nice bar right across the street and a subway station conveniently steps away. The room felt clean and comfortable and there was not a ton of noise keeping us up. We both agreed that we would definitely stay here again if ever in NYC. Thanks for a great experience!

Courteous and very friendly staff. Though little expensive than expected for a basic stay but its within the financial district. very much a comfortable stay with neat and clean rooms. Moved us to a bigger and spacious room as the bathroom door needed fixing. Traveling as a tourist to different places and routes was super easy. Expedia charges the destination fee of 25 USD per night plus tax separately which is a lot and springs a surprise if not noted early.

Very convenient to everything: coffee shops, the new Printemps store, ferries to Staten Island and Statue of Liberty, Wall Street, etc. The area is undergoing change so you will see a lot of construction and barricades.

Everything was fine. BUT bedframe sticks out with sharp corners and my wife and i smashed our feet and ankles multiple times. Lighting is dim, floor is dark, Bedframes are black and very hard to see......so beware! Otherwise it was gine, pleasant staff, good location.

No complaints at all, great staff, nice clean rooms. Breakfast is a great grab and go. They were able to put us up for 7 days without any notice whatever, managing to keep us in the same room when extending the stay from 1 night to 6.
