Cabin located close to family I was visiting. Cute little kitchenette area that was stocked well; however I only needed to use the frig and microwave this trip. Slept well. Enjoyed my stay and would definitely return.
Booked a weekend stay to check out the beacon area. Was pleasantly surprised how such a small cabin had everything you would need for a small getaway. Hosts eveven provides snacks and coffee, though my plus 1 and I didnât need any. Cable tv and WiFi and an/c included. Everything was clean and neat. Loved that it was within 15 min driving from beacon main st, dia, Ben marl winery and some hike trails which was all on my weekend agenda.Highly recommended!
Your cabin is beautiful and we had a great nightI told everyone about our stay we would differently stay there again. I wish we could have stayed a few days so we could take advantage of everything you had to offer. Thank you again
This cabin was very welcoming at first sight. It had everything we needed and many things we didn't need but nice to have the option.I'm fussy about cleanliness and it exceeded my expectations. The bed was comfortable. There was internet and different options for watching lots of channels or using the streaming apps like Netflix on the large smart TV.We will definitely stay at cabin again when I'm back in the area to visit my family.
The cabin was spotless and very convenient for a quick trip to the area. My only comment was that it could be rather loud and could use blackout curtains. Very cute decorations and very easy communication
Birthday celebration and traveling with pets. Was hoping to dine at the CIA but we enjoyed a lovely lunch in Newburgh. Would stay again. Very clean and comfortable cabin. Perfectly appointed!
I needed a place to stay for a local event, small cabin was quant and comfortable. Easy check in and owner was kind to let us have an extra hour for check out since our event ran late. Cabins are located in a very busy central location and you could hear traffic but the sound machines provided helped for me since I live in the country. I probably would notice more than someone from the city.
My wife and I LOVED our stay here. The cabin was exactly as advertised and perfect for us and our 2 dogs. The cabin was incredibly clean, the bed was comfortable and the owners were very thoughtful. It's in a great location and made our fun weekend even better than we could have expected. We will definitely stay here again!!!
The cabin was exactly as advertised and Julie was really helpful suggesting restaurants and activities. I loved the Homedics noise machine and appreciated having coffee and bottled water.
One suggestion- a cutting board would be nice (if there was one, I didn't see it.)

This charming cabin was one of four on this historic property, whose story is posted on the wall inside. The property was beyond clean and the furnishings were comfortable, updated and "just enough" for the size of the cabin. This cabin is also located yards away from a well traveled road, but the noise is not heard inside. We stayed three nights and were quite happy with the home and responsivenss of the owner. This location also provided a pet friendly policy which is difficult to find. There was zero pet smells or indication that pets had stayed here before. Our little furry guy enjoyed his stay and was quite comfortable in the cabin as well. The location allowed plenty of property for healthy walks and exploration. This home is centrally located for a West Point, Marlborough and beyond travel plan.
My husband and I didnât think there were any more old-fashioned âtourist cabinsâ left along Americaâs secondary highways. They were ubiquitous in the 1940âs and 50âs. We were happy to find this immaculate, comfortable cabin enclave near the Beacon-Newburgh Bridge in Orange County and enjoyed our short stay. The family who started the business - in the 1920âs! - is featured along with framed archival postcards on the walls, reminding us that this business is a rare survivor of the kinds of accommodations travelers stayed in in the pre-Holiday Inn era. Truly historic charm that deserves to be patronized into the future.
Our stay was better than perfect! The little house was a wonderful place for the two of us and our two dogs. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. It is exactly like the pictures. It was spacious for only 150 sqf. The bed was super comfortable and the sheets made me not want to get out of bed. There was nothing about the place we didnât like. We definitely would book this place again.
Our second stay and there will be more to come. A little gem in the Mid Hudson Valley. So clean, warm and cozy. And with the kitchen, we were able to prepare our favorite Thanksgiving dishes for family dinner. This little charmer is a favorite of ours.
Absolutely lovely property! Much nicer than a hotel and easy to find. Went to a wonderful local restaurant About 10 minutes away - Shipyard Lantern. Highly recommend both the cabin and the restaurant!
Our stay at "the cabin" was excellent! Little touches like snacks and fresh cut flowers were nice. Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our weekend stay to visit our daughter at college. Communication with the owner was very good and we will look to stay here in the future.
We could not be happier with this stay. The Cabin was adorable and just what we needed. We both grew up in the area and had passed the Cabins for decades. We had no idea what they had to offer for travelers. Extremely clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities needed for an overnight or longer stay. Having a full kitchen in Cabin 1 we are able to enjoy cooking and enjoying local farm fair during our extended stay. The host provides for an easy check in and check out, and ensures you are well taken care of and safe during your stay. If you don't know what the mid-Hudson Valley has to offer, no worries. The host has you covered with literature and suggestions on local tourist experiences. We have stayed in several other accommodations, and found the privacy and location was just perfect for this traveling couple. We have already reserved our next family visit stay, and we are sure it won't be the last one. A special Thank You to host Julie for keeping the tradition of the Little Cabin Inn cabins preserved for so many to enjoy!!
I had to move quickly from Iowa to a new job. Julie and staff were friendly and accommodating, communication was amazing. I really appreciated my time at the cabin.
