Nice stay all un all. I thought we booked 3 beds but we had one bed and a sofa bed - so my 2 sons had one double bed together and one big quilt. And my sofa bed was a little hard. But nice staff and a god gym - and a good stay.

Great service from check in. Our room was a long walk from reception so if you are not able bodied - ask for a room near to reception. Our room was right by laundry bins so curtains were kept shut There’s no lifts, steps & a disabled lift chair but corridors are long. Our room was fine, bedding clean & it looked newly painted. But it’s December & there’s only a small oil filled radiator to keep the room warm. So I can’t say it was cosy warm but in bed it was warm enough. I would stay here again as it’s convenient to where we travel, a bargain price & I have to say was very clean with a fab breakfast! Had so much choice & all nicely cooked. Currently EV chargers are being replaced & this was one reason I chose it. But there’s a BP garage close with supposedly fast chargers but they’re slow. Staff are great & food the night before was reasonable too.

As ever the most important part of any hotel is the staff. And i can say without reservation all the staff at the hotel were friendly. Helpfully. And very polite. The hotel its self for us. Has all the amenities you need. And the cleanliness throughout was first class. I can recommend the holiday inn hotel to everyone

The staff are tremendous, the breakfast was amazing and the Gluten Free option / the facilitator of GF toaster, and Chefs knowledge, we're quite simply excellent and we have never seen a GF only toaster facility. Fantastic. Now the building, is old dated, just about serviceable and clean as can be expected. Let's be honest "You can polish a ted" but you're having a damn good effort. Would I stay again? You know what, I would, because of the food ( GLUTEN FREE FACILITY) and Staff. I just would want to be paying £100 plus a night.

Receptionist was very helpful and polite, although the bar and restaurant staff were very slow and carefree. The food was good and the breakfast had an excellent variety. Room was clean. Swimming pool and jacuzzi wasn't too busy. I would stay here again.
