Great staff!

Ollie on reception was very friendly and helpful and made the children feel really special. The staff in the restaurant were very helpful although two of our main meals took a very long time to come out. At breakfast the lady serving us was very helpful and friendly (sorry I don't remember her name) the staff went and got my son some gluten free brownies as he was upset that there was nothing sweet that was gluten free and his siblings were enjoying pancakes, croissants, cakes etc. We really appreciated that, although maybe it needs to be looked into for the future?

Great for overnight stay

Stopped overnight on way to London. Room was clean and suitable for a couple or single. Breakfast was superb. Everything catered for. Free overnight parking. Swimming pool and gym. Excellent value for money.

The hotel looked tired but it was very clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and polite. Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice for all tastes. The pool and jacuzzi were an added bonus.

Could do better

One night quick business trip en route North from Dorset. When you have been driving or working somewhere all day the really important thing when you get a to hotel is to get checked in quickly and get to your room... Not the case here. Had to wait 20 - 25 minutes as only one person Olly was on reception with a queue of around 6 people all waiting to check in. Painfully slow. Room was small but OK, pillows were foam rubber type and had seen better days. Some Holiday inns are great value for money, some areas have better Premier Inn's.... this one needs an upgrade. Breakfast was quite good and pretty standard.

Lovely hotel, excellent staff

The hotel was great for our one night stay. The rooms are basic but comfortable. Parts of the hotel could do with some work but overall was a lovely stay. The staff were the best thing about it, they went above and beyond in all areas, the pool, the reception, the bar and the restaurant.
