Location was good, room was clean and functional. However room was not serviced when specifically requested. Bathroom had no shower gel. This was replaced when reception informed. However staff stepped over dirty wet towels to do so but didnt replace towels or service room. Arrived early and asked to store bags, were given option to check in early as room ready. When said that would be great, wanted to charge £50 even though room was ready.

Good location, comfy room

Stayed here for two nights.Good location in Newcastle close to all local amenities. Didn’t really get to use any of the hotel facilities as we were out all day/night but all looked very good. Room was nice decent size, serviced daily. Staff were friendly. Arrived early and room was ready so that was very good.

Staff excellent. Room and all areas spotless. Room dark and mirrors too far from light to shave. Only 4 small milk sachets. Shower room door opens onto shower entrance. No where to dry towels.

We lucked out on our 3rd stay at Maldron and ended up with an enormous room! Chose the online checking in option which saved time, and was easy once shown how by a friendly member of front of house staff. Close to the train station and bars which is what we wanted. We will be back for a fourth stay!

Very nice stay

First time staying here and we definitely will again. The check in was easy, the bed was comfortable, the pillow was so soft and comfy. The room was clean and had everything for a nights stay. The check out was easy and in a good location in the city too. Thank you.

We enjoyed a very lovely stay for the carabao cup celebrations, staff and hotel were all perfect, as was the use of the robot room service which was the cherry on top for my 6 year old son. I would have given a 5 star review but have been left with a sour taste in my mouth on departure, as we were informed the hotel no longer offers discounts on parking despite both the carpark signage and the Maldron hotels website both stating it does, just feel very misled.
