Room was fantastic, very clean, super comfy bed. Private balcony, and easy beach access. We loved the complimentary snack basket! The property was beautiful, and most of the staff were incredibly kind. Our waitress for dinner seemed liked they were put off by having to help us at first, but warmed up a bit. The bar and restaurant were 14587422/10!! So good! Amazing drinks! The crab rolls were INSANELY delicious, as were the avocado fries, and the maple bacon bourbon deviled egg was unforgettable! Breakfast was incredible too. The caramel latte was so good, but the coffee drink called the Allred was incredible and I’ll try my hardest to recreate it! It will be extremely hard to stay anywhere else in Newport after this stay. I typically stay at Best Western Agate Beach which is fantastic, but the Allred has become my new favorite. My only complaint is that the restaurant and bar area were so incredibly bright. I’d love it if they dimmed the lights A LOT more, especially in the evenings. It would make it a much more intimate space rather than a convention hall feeling. Such a wonderful stay, for an incredible price!! I’m sure the rates will increase during the summer, but I’ll still be there! WELL WORTH EVERY PENNY!
