Our accommodation and the restaurant bar were fantastic as usual. The food, well it speaks for itself if I was to use a word ‘tremendous!’ Unfortunately a couple of your team members were not up to the usual standard (Thurs 13th evening & Fri 14th breakfast). The young lady on the 13th, came across as we were being annoying to her and that everything was too much trouble!? The next morning at breakfast the young man came across poorly, he offered no milk with my coffee, or butter with our toast and appeared more engaged with his phone than the customers of which we were one of two couples. This will not put us off both staying & dining with yourselves again, but was not the standard we have enjoyed previously.

Great rooms, but it was a bit of a nightmare to find due to local road works. The food is great, staff are extra polite and very helpful. One thing I wasn’t aware of was the need for ID, as this wasn’t expected on hotels.com. It’s on the website apparently, but it’s not exactly something you check before you travel is it? Anyway, they accepted a photo of my driving license, as I didn’t have it in me.

Lacking staff. People waiting outside for breakfast 7.30 no one about. 6 people waiting all have places to be in the morning. Turned up late in a rush, terrible service. Room ok can hear people in adjoining room, can hear wind whistling by the door most of the two nights
