Great for Families

We stayed at Sunny Day with multiple families with young children and greatly enjoy the home! It is well suited for children with many amenities such as cribs, high chairs, baby bath, children utensils and serve ware. We spend a lot of time at the pool and also enjoying the lake activities. Absolutely would stay again!

Perfect place to stay with the family

My family and I loved staying at the Taunton Lake house. The space fit my out of town family very well. We loved that each person had their own space, bathroom, and the use of the pool and hot tub. The house had a lot of fun things to do and helped to keep us together at the house rather than going out. The kitchen was also very lovely. Having the kitchen space as open as it was allowed everyone to hang out and eat. We would definitely stay here again in the future. Oh! We also appreciated being able to be in touch with the host so easily.

We had a great stay at Sunny Day on Taunton Lake. The house was big and has all the amenities anymore would need. The house is nicely finished and fully stocked for all your needs. Great spot for entertaining both indoors and out! We look forward to our next stay!

Great Family Stay!

We had a large group of families with children under 5. The house was spacious and accommodated us well. There are lots of “hang out” areas in the house and good spaces for kids to play. The house is well stocked in all areas, including for kids such as high chairs, cribs, plates/utensils. The pool and lake are stunning and easy to enjoy. Would definitely revisit!

Amazing stay in Newtown

House is beautiful and a great layout for multiple families. We had a family reunion with kids and everyone loved the pool, all the seating options, large & well stocked kitchen for lots of cooking, and lake access with kayaks and toys to use. We had a great time and hope to be returning next year. Tony was quick to answer our questions before and during the stay and made access and communication easy. We appreciate you, Tony! Thanks again for a wonderful stay!!

Beautiful home and perfect for our family vacation

Our five adult children, us and our basset hound had a fantastic time. Spent a lot of time in the pool. The kids loved kayaking, fishing and the stand up paddle boards. We played some pool, air hockey and put together some puzzles. The beds were comfy, the couch was cozy for family movie night and morning coffee on the deck overlooking the lake was so calming. Amenities were close by and the pizza from Good Old Days was delicious. Would definitely recommend this stunning home.

Fantastic Lake/Pool Home

We had a wonderful experience staying at this property. The house was well equipped for our large group, and the private rooms and bathrooms were spectacular and very comfortable. Every room has a fantastic view, the pool and the lake are amazing! The home is in a nice, safe, quiet neighborhood, close to shopping and dining. The host and co-host were very communicative, and the guest's instructions were clear. The home is immaculate and comfortable and has all the amenities you need. The backyard is beautiful! Next time we're in town, we plan to stay again!

Thanksgiving Gathering

This property is exactly as advertised. No unexpected surprises. Situated in a quiet suburb and overlooking a lake, it met all our expectations. Great area to walk in. Food and shopping is in close proximity. Plenty of room to enjoy some touch football with the kids (right in the driveway). The very spacious living areas permitted a large family gathering that included sitting around the table playing games and informal dining. We also got plenty of use out of the pool table and air hockey table. My only wish: summertime where I could enjoy the pool. As with other stays through iTrips, Jen and Tony are very attentive. I would not hesitate to rent from them again.

best weekend of my summer 10/10

This is one of the best hosts I’ve ever experienced!! There is no shortage of things to do in this house as well as this town! This house is so warm and charming. You will 100% leave recharged and refreshed. The blinder they provide has so much knowledge of the lake, great recommendations, and clear directions of the upkeep of the home. We visited the Newsylum Brewery which was so cool to experience right before spooky season. And Ferris Acres Creamery was so fun as an after dinner treat! I could go on and on. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Such a good place to make new memories. Looking forward to booking again next summer !

Smilin’ at Sunny Days

When you enter the front doors of this gorgeous home to find welcome goodies on the counter, and the sound of “Be Our Guest” playing on the house speakers, you know you’re in for a real treat. Don’t even get me started on the mesmerizing infinity pool that overlooks the lake…unbelievable. Multiple areas to lounge by the pool and hot tub with enough chairs for all. The house is lakefront, with a dock that allows you to fish or take out a kayak or paddle board. Ensuite bedrooms are beautiful, kitchen fantastic, pool table and bar area just one of the terrific places to hang. We were able to sit outside by the fire, on the large covered upper deck, one night during a summer thunderstorm. Talk about nature’s fireworks. The house is fully stocked with everything you need to enjoy your “home away from home”. Bring a toothbrush and you’re set. Jenna and Tony (property mgrs) were so kind, welcoming and available to help with any questions. We will definitely be back!

Sunny Day is Amazing

What a spectacular couple of days on the lake. The house was perfect for getting the whole family together. Grandparents, adult children, and spouses and grandchildren. Even grand pups. The kitchen had everything we needed and we loved all being able to eat outside on the porch together. We couldn't get the kids out of the lake. Kids from 10-58 were out fishing, in the kayaks, on the paddleboards, and swimming for hours. There were enough lifejacks for everyone which we appreciated. It was also appreciated that the homeowner put some mats around the dock to keep the seaweed away. The pool is just breathtaking and we really took advantage of the view at sunset and got some amazing family pictures. The hosts really thought of everything... a lovely welcome pack as well as a starter kit of paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The towels were really nice and the bedding was super comfortable. We even noticed that they had a lot of baby equipment for guests with small children (2 cribs, 2 high chairs, potty, step stools, baby bath). We can not wait to go back

If you want a clean, well managed property, read on:

Family reunion for 11 people - 3 night stay. I have used VRBO in past for several rentals and as my brother said, :"This is the best one yet". Upon entering, you are struck by the well-planned lay-out of the kitchen-great room - so spacious! The kitchen was my first stop and it was supremely well stocked (for our needs - graduates of the Cordon Bleu might disagree). High-end appliances, plenty of glasses, dishes and utensils - and not the "cheap" stuff either! Clean, clean, clean. Bedrooms were more than adequate, each having its own full bathroom (which sealed the deal for me), new tv, and comfortable seemingly new beds and mattresses. Other rooms include a dedicated office, play room, separate pool room with wet bar and sliding doors out onto the large spacious deck. I could go on and on listing all the positive posts but time for the negatives: 1. maybe a reading light by the beds in the master suite? 2. ummmm - I seem to be drawing a blank here.... :) I can't see how one can go wrong here in terms of comfort and pleasure.
