Vinpearl Resort Nha Trang was a mixed experience and definitely not a true five-star stay. Pros • Friendly, helpful staff • Great shower pressure • Decent spa treatments • Resort credit given when we had to switch rooms Cons • Cleanliness and maintenance are lacking — the resort feels dated and not well cared for. Didn’t even feel comfortable taking my shoes off in the room • Ants in our villa, making it unusable and requiring a room change into the main hotel • Food quality is inconsistent, and we ended up with food poisoning on our last day — I’d avoid the American-style dishes. Birds flying throughout the restaurant landing on pastries was disgusting • Definitely not a genuine 5-star experience in terms of upkeep or overall quality. Maybe 3-star at best Why the ratings seem high Staff encourage guests to leave a 5-star review on the spot and stand by while it’s submitted, which clearly inflates the hotel’s ratings. Overall Kind staff and a solid spa couldn’t make up for the cleanliness issues, villa problems, and food poisoning. I’d give it 2 out of 5 and wouldn’t return unless major improvements are made.

We rented 3 rooms one of the room sheet was dirty and other rooms was ok but not what to expect from a 5 start hotel. The restaurant food and service was horrible it took 45 minutes for a sandwich which was cold! Most importantly the beach was dirty and smelly! There was a smelly and dirty water came directly to the beach I think it was pool shower or sewer from elsewhere, but super smelly that one of our friend got headaches. Overall this place can’t be more than a 3 start place in western standard.

The hotel was nice and clean with lots of different pools to enjoy from and a nice play area for small children. The hotel and shopping area are very kid friendly which suited our family well. The place is well suited for people who plan to stay at the vinpearl area. However, traveling from the resorts to anywhere outside the resort area will need golf cart rides and traveling to Na trang will require golf cart rides to the cable car area, cable car ride to get to the city and taxi rides to get around so it could end up being a quite a journey.

Our best resort in Vietnam

We stayed at different Vinpearl resorts and hotels but Vinpearl Nha Trang resort is still our favorite. We felt the welcome attitude from the staffs, especially Ms. Thuyen - the manager - she was very friendly, we couldn’t get the late check out from the front desk but she decided to gave us the late check out. They have excellent customer services, room was clean, comfortable. The only thing was uncomfortable: some of local customers cut the waiting line at the restaurant and at the front desk ; the Russian customers took our seats at the beach even with our personal things on it - not the resort’s fault. We will visit again

So Amazing

I love the speedboat in the cable cars. The hotel is located right next to the beach and has an amazing swimming pool that my son absolutely loved. The Vinpearl is a definite must!

Staff was friendly and welcoming. Buffet was very good with many choices. View was nice. The cable car and boat transport was great. However, twin beds were very small to fit alot of ppl, option for another bed was available. Pool was ok but could be deeper. Beach has jellyfish for view only not really swimmable. The restaurant was very expensive compare to the harbor. Overall, would recommend and well worthed for the deal.

The villas are lovely, main pool nice, beach gorgeous. However there’s No crockery in the villas, Pool was not maintained, resulting in a cloudy pool. Decking was broken, we all fell through the broken decking. Half day VinWonders is a lie.

Property and room is overall nice and clean but service and hospitality is terrible. You need to wait around 30 mins or more for shuttles to get back and forth to your hotel. They require you scan your face like 3x before being allowed to go anywhere. Very poor directory and no one can help with anything. Need to think it over if you want to stay home where that does not require a long wait time.

If you hungry between the hours of 4-6 good luck. You’ll need to travel to the harbor to get food or do room service. The bathroom in the room is so gross. Mold and mildew everywhere. There’s even ring marks where the previous guests left the cup on the bathroom sink countertop. They also gave us opened lotion bottle. The rooms are not sound proof. I could hear the kid Nextdoor scream his lungs off while the parents yelled at him.

Staff was nice, but English is a big challenge still. Rooms are just like any business hotel, very plain. The property was beautiful.
