Always happy to stay at the Oakes hotel. They upgraded our room to higher level river view for free. Was a nice gesture. Room is big and clean. Comfy bed. The only thing is their parking is expensive 50$ a night with taxes which is pricey. Glad I found over night parking close by cost $20 a night. But I would go back again.

No breakfast. It was expensive, probably because it overlooks the Niagara. Parking over night cost another $50, there are other hotels with free parking. I think the hotel uses its location as an opportunity to rake in as much as it can. the parking lot was not full, there was no need to charge guest extra for parking.

After much deliberation, we chose Oakes Tower for our 2 night stay at Niagara Falls. Check in was easy, parking was easy (although $50/night for self-parking in an outside lot). Room was clean, but tired. View from our Fallsview room was spectacular, although windows needed cleaning (this was underway during our stay). Easy access to the Falls either on foot, or via the tramway ($3.75/trip). Plenty of dining nearby, or a 20min walk to Clifton Hill entertainment district for more options. Would recommend for the view!

Hotel rooms are a little tired and did not have an in-room coffee maker. Heating/cooling unit was loud and difficult to maintain temp.I was surprised to find there was no onsite restaurant or bar, that did not require exiting the property - my error I should have double checked. For one night stay the hotel was fine. Parking at $50 per night is more expensive than neighbouring hotel.

The views from this hotel are incredible. We had a suite so the room was very comfortable as are the beds. I didn't like the $50 charge to pay for a parking lot in the back of the hotel but it's a tourist area so to be expected. We had breakfast next door at Applebee's as there is not restaurant on site at this hotel. Overall it was a lovely stay and I would definately recommend this hotel.

They full booked and sent us to Hilton hotel! Terrible experience! They kept us $100 security deposit and we didn’t receive yet almost one week! The room so small not upgraded! The bathroom was leaking all the night and you could not sleep!

Excellent location, friendly staff, clean rooms and facilities. The only negative is the extremely expensive parking. It’s much cheaper not far from the hotel at multiple locations. The hotel is conveniently located by the incline, which unfortunately was down for the duration of our stay. However there was a complimentary shuttle running every 15 minutes. TY Oakes hotel staff !!
