The property is OLD and DIRTY and was scary; it is apparently under construction. Felt ripped off and I almost slept in my car instead. The windows in the room were filthy, moldy, the ceiling was opened up, the hallway carpet and elevator area was FILTHY.....
Hotel was comfortable and clean. Bed and bathroom were very clean and I enjoyed the stay except for the restaurant. Food was good but we must have interrupted the server's social life. There was no service, had to ask several times for anything we needed. I know people may be tired at end of shift but we were just in the way I think Also there was a large spill on the floor that staff just kept walking through.
It was close to the falls and the walking to Canada. Floor smelled like marijuana, hotel was relatively clean some damage in my room but doing renovation overall decent place.

The room 125 was very noisy which was next to the AC unit. I tried talking to the person at the front but he keeps saying that's all they have left. But next morning at reception, the other guy said that they had room and they should have been able to switch it.

Okay view of the city and to watch the fireworks. There were loose tiles in the bathroom floor and the air conditioner was annoyingly loud. Otherwise nice stay.
It is in an unsafe area with sirens and loud vehicle traffic all night. It is very run down. They charged a previously undisclosed facility fee although we arrived after 5pm and left by 8am.
Pictures were very deceiving. I want to take a look at the room to see if it was as dirty as the outside, however, we were told no. The lobby had worn out furniture and it looked like they had done the bare minimum to keep it going. The wallpaper was coming off the wall, there was mold on the windows, the windows were filthy and the elevators were old and just years of built up dirt. I booked through a third party website so they would not refund our money, try to be careful with the third party websites but of course they only know what the hotel send them about it. The staff was ok and we had a burger at the restaurant which was decent. They were not that busy but it looked like they had limited staff. It was close to the state park which was a plus but there were a few hotels that looked a lot better close to the water. The bar staff was friendly but slow.
I understand that in tourist areas people keep coming, so this kind of attitude might be inevitable, but the receptionist’s attitude was close to the worst. There was no sense of being welcomed at all, and I honestly regret not staying on the Canadian side instead. On top of that, I was charged an extra $25 at check-in, supposedly for parking and cleaning — but shouldn’t that have been included?
Windows and carpet were filthy. Music blasting through the lobby. No room cleaning. Clueless waitress. We didn’t know what the bar did/didn’t offer and had trouble hearing because she had her earbuds in.
