Good afternoon just wanted to let you know that we enjoyed our stay at Crows Nest we had a great time and the property is amazing but last night approximately at 2 am someone tried to break in to our tree house. Thankfully Ruidoso Police did go when we called and they found a man that had trespassed the property and they walked him out. If I had any suggestions it would be to possibly have certain contact information of someone available on the property for when there is emergencies
It was absolutey amazing stay! Cabin was cozy for the 4 of us and we loved Beethovens company too (property dog). Waking up to snow made it more memorable! Only hiccup we had was trying to locate crows best on map (
From booking to check out it was rough,
- No welcome message or check in communication, had to text 30 min before we got there to get instructions about door code and gate codes
- smelt like sewer (had two air fresheners to cover it up but it just gasses you out because the place is so small)
- because there was no communication we werenât aware there was a heater under the cabinets so it was freezing all night
- No clear expectation around carrying everything in by wagon down and up a very large hill
- No instructions on how to get to it (signage was limited for this property)
We loved our stay here. You can tell that there was a lot of thought put into the entire property, the attention to little charming details was really quite magical. We had a lot of fun wandering around the trails and resting in the hammocks. The Crow's Nest Treehouse itself was a fun blast from the past, and we really enjoyed watching old VHS movies. I also want to note how sweet and friendly Chester is, we got to hang out with him a little bit and we loved every second. He's the goodest boy! We hope to come back again.
