I Love Aruba

We booked a last minute trip from North Dakota, USA to Aruba. We were so happy to find a place to accommodate the 7 of us comfortably. This space was perfect for our crew! While the pool is a bit smaller in person than the pictures made it seem, it was absolute fun and relaxing for our group! The outdoor space provided everything we needed. We will be booking again with this host for future Arubian adventures!

Amenity Expectations not clear or outdated...

We will stay positive and say that the management company was very responsive to the many issues and missing amenities we encountered during our stay. However, it was very clear that the property is an investment property with much needed revisions (no way the actual owners would spend a week there given what we experienced). The current online pictures and description are most likely from the first day the property was put up for rental years back (so keep that in mind). We truly hope they revise the listing so that folks either know what to expect when they actually arrive and go through the basic amenities promised or actually go through the inventory and make sure all the necessary items for a vacation villa stay are made available for the next family on day 1 of their "time in paradise". Again, the property manager was very responsive and I give them much credit for addressing these omissions in real time but it would have been nice to have those standard and basic items available when we arrived so when did not have to ask for them day-to-day and interrupt of relaxing stay as much as possible.

It stated it had ocean views and it did not. Said it was a luxury home and it was not. It took 3 days to figure out how to work the tv’s. Outside jacuzzi was not even warm at all so no one could go in that.

Nice big house

The house was as described in the listing. The location is great, a short walk to the beach through the bird sanctuary. Drive to the beach if you are packing a lot of “stuff”. The house could use some maintenance and more kitchen supplies . Also could use more furniture for such a large house. I believe it was for sale so maybe upgrades are waiting on the next owner. All in all, we spent a wonderful two weeks at the house in Aruba & would go back if possible.

Better than expected!

Whoever wrote the bad review was obviously having an extremely bad day or just shouldn’t travel
 This place was excellent! We booked it so that our friend (who was on a cruise coming in for the day) would have a place to get ready for her wedding on the beach. She and her wedding group were amazed at the house and it turned out to be the main spot for their wedding photos! The house is beautiful and clean. It had everything we needed. The only thing I need to mention is that we received further instructions on the WiFi, how things work, etc, via the WhatsApp, which I didn’t see until after we left. Make sure you download it! They use it all over the island. We would love to return and take a larger group with us to stay. This place can easily accommodate a large family and some friends. We didn’t use the pool, but it looked great. The area is nice and quiet.

Heaven - everything you need without leaving the house

This property is way bigger than it appears online. It is gorgeous and equipped with everything you would need to never leave if you didn't desire. Except food, you have to buy your own food. Each shower has Aruba Aloe shampoo/conditioner & body wash. The pool and outdoors is AMAZING. Owner has lots of pool floats. This was the most amazing place we've stayed and having a beautiful outdoor space made our vacation extra special because we would just sit outside at night & float around the pool talking. The beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Luxury Villa Needs Much Work

Ana was responsive property manager & very helpful. We were disappointed with this Villa. The pictures show the condition of the home years ago. This home needs a lot of maintenance work and needs luxury amenities to go with this upscale home. Patio screens were missing and some were torn. Some patio doors were nailed shut. Cracked windows. Dishes were old & worn out. The stove pilot would not stay lit - we had to turn the gas on and use a lighter to light the stove. Bedroom closet door missing. Closet units were warped and smelled musty. Inadequate supply & quality hangers - cheap hangers & hangers from the dry cleaners! Exterior doors had holes in them and would not lock. 4th bedroom is really a closet off from the garage. Pool area bathroom door jamb was broken so door wouldn’t lock & lacked privacy. Outdoor jacuzzi was inoperable. Pool chaise were missing cushions. Old rusty grill & old broken pool loungers on side of house. Exterior light fixtures had burnt out light bulbs. Missing exterior front light fixtures. No window shades in kitchen or dining room - thus no privacy. The bed broke just by sitting on it resulting in bruised & injured back. Pool bar counter had broken edges with the broken granite pieces on the ground, under the barb& scattered about the backyard. Patio hadn’t been cleaned and contained feces. Broken stairs tile in front of outdoor jacuzzi. Outdoor handrail & gates were rusted and had flaking & chipped paint. Drapes were moldy, dusty, dirty and had holes There was just so much wrong with this property. Sadly, given the poor condition of this property, we were unable to enjoy the home. This Villa is overpriced given its current unsatisfactory condition. Hopefully, this review supplemented with photos & long list of needed improvements will result in this place being repaired so that it can be a truly luxury home.

Amazing Stay and Amazing House

This property is perfect for a group of 8-9. The house is stunning and the backyard is even better. Plenty of covered patio space with chairs and picnic area and a massive uncovered area with pool. The location is about as good as it gets. We were a short 3 minute drive to the hotel/restaurant area and then a 3 minute drive to Arishi beach and the light house. Highly recommend this house to anyone traveling with a group!
