Lake Bjärten is teeming with perch and pike, whilst the River Lögdeälven provides a habitat for grayling, salmon and sea trout. On warm days, treat yourself to a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear water and enjoy the idyllic setting with a picnic by the lakeside.
You can also go on a canoe trip along the River Öreälven, explore the impressive Hällristningar rock carvings and visit the nearby moose park. The coastal city of Umeå, with its cultural highlights and charming cafés, is well worth a day trip.
