Perfect beach getaway with family and friends!
My husband and toddler and I stayed with another couple toddler and their dog for the July 4th weekend. Everything was perfect, and Nadia and Blair are such communicative and accommodating hosts. They allowed for us to check in way earlier than we expected so to make it easier for the toddlers to acclimate and nap. Our key code didn't work unexpectedly due to some technical malfunction, so we were a bit nervous for a few minutes as we tried to get in touch with the hosts who were out of the country. But they provided a backup number to their housecleaner who helped us get in. That was literally the only part of the trip with a hiccup. The house is wonderfully appointed (and it has real plants, which is such a small thing, but I so appreciate real plants and not fake ones when I'm renting a house!). It being dog-friendly was super helpful for the other family, and the house was fully stocked with everything we needed. It's so close to the beach, which has ample parking, but you can also walk there within 15 min. We had beach passes, which was soo nice, and the beach has a lovely little boardwalk with ice cream, coffee, light bites, and other things that really made staying there so so convenient with a little one. We love going to the Chesapeake for July 4th to get away from the nonstop fireworks in DC. This was our first time staying at this house, and we loved it so much, we'll certainly be back!
