The room was clean and nicely warm- great hot water- refrigerator and a microwave- nice tv. But the blanket I got from the drawer was not very clean. There was no shower cap- no phone to front office- Very economical motel. I would chose this place again but perhaps prefer to pay some more and stay somewhere else. Things that can be improved; Curtains, particularly the ones in the back- put a shower cap. Have new and cleaner towels. Get a phone line to front office. - place a soft closing toilet seat- place 1-2 bottles of water and a coffee machine. Thicker comforter.

The gentleman that checked us in was not friendly or welcoming. Our parking space assigned to us was covered in ice and snow as though it was not plowed or shoveled. The microwave was filthy.

The Colonial does a fantastic job at keeping a clean, efficient room for travelers. The innkeepers are kind and accommodating - showcasing menus of local independent restaurants. No in-room coffee, but you have a mini-fridge and a microwave with two great indy cafes a nice walk past some local gems. If you want to be in the village and you’re not a princess, choose the Colonial.

Check-in took awhile as reservations were "not in the calendar" of the motel...?? Rooms were well tempered, never too warm, or too cold. Beds were very comfortable - great mattresses!
