Check in was a mess. Cards given to get into unit fail very often. Took me 3 trips to front desk from the room to get in. Stressful. They forgot to mention that if you touch your phone to the card, it renders it useless, which is a very unusual thing and is extremely difficult to deal with. Even another occasion happened to cause it not to work when it wasn't by phone. Card hardly works to get in garage, better off using code. Stressful again. Staff isn't friendly either. Water was shut off once for hours, another the power went out... dog next door in owner unit arrived before our last day and barked incessantly for hours. Elevators made an alarming sound and some buttons wouldn't work on occasion.
The room itself was decent. A bit musty/old smelling. Found dirty washcloth in the bathroom cabinet and surfaces in living room weren't wiped clean. I used a wipe that turned light brown after using on coffee tables, doors, etc... unit was decent equipped in kitchen and bathroom. Had k cup machine in closet but no filters for the 8 cup maker. The fridge needs replacing and the burners on the stove could use adjusting. The view was great but some of the pool chairs below do face you below. The pools at this resort are awesome and plentiful. The frozen bar drinks were great at the bar. I wish the resort itself were better. I'm not sure I'd stay in this resort again. Dogs can be had by owner units and up to 20 pounds but not for renters. It did not Bark at night which was a relief. The view from the beach was great. The bathroom sink stinks when you run the water, the shower doesn't give you great pressure, and the beds and couch are very uncomfortable. The unit was exactly as pictured. All in all, a good buy for the view of the ocean but I felt very unrelaxed on many occasions during my stay. Again, not necessarily something that can be controlled by anyone else but the resort and not the owners. Thank you for the vacation!
