La belle propriété de 4 acres, récemment rénovée, se compose d'une maison principale de 3 chambres avec une maison d'hÎtes indépendante, toutes deux construites autour d'une trÚs grande piscine privée de 33 pieds. Miss Ruby est situé sur la prestigieuse Banks Road, l'adresse principale de Governors Harbour, à seulement 5 minutes en voiture de la ville et à moins de 15 minutes à pied de la plage du célÚbre restaurant-bar Tippy.

Miss Ruby se trouve à 3 minutes à pied d'une plage de sable rose longue de plusieurs kilomÚtres, généralement déserte. Cette plage a une piscine unique et totalement protégée, parfaite pour les petits enfants, ainsi qu'une longue plage océanique parfaite pour les cartes postales. Miss Ruby offre une vue magnifique sur l'océan depuis les chambres et les ponts de l'étage supérieur. Miss Ruby est entourée d'un jardin luxuriant planté de bougainvilliers et d'hibiscus en fleurs, ainsi que de cocotiers et d'autres arbres fruitiers.

La maison principale à deux étages de Miss Ruby comprend 3 chambres et 3 salles de bains. Il présente de hauts plafonds, du parquet et beaucoup de soleil. Le premier étage a une grande grande salle avec salon et salle à manger, et une cuisine moderne et entiÚrement équipée avec ßlot avec des comptoirs en bloc de boucher et des appareils en acier inoxydable. Il y a aussi une chambre d'hÎtes au premier étage avec un lit complet et une salle de bain complÚte qui est partagée avec le salon.

A l'étage, une trÚs grande suite parentale avec lit king-size et vue sur l'océan, une salle de bain complÚte en suite, une immense terrasse avec vue sur l'océan et une véranda panoramique. L'étage dispose également d'une grande chambre d'hÎtes avec un lit superposé triple et un lit simple séparé. Cette chambre a également une salle de bain complÚte et une grande véranda avec vue sur l'océan.

La maison d'hÎtes indépendante comprend 2 lits simples et un lit complet, une salle de bain complÚte et une cuisine complÚte avec réfrigérateur, cuisiniÚre, évier et cafetiÚre.

Les installations comprennent une piscine privée, la climatisation, une buanderie avec laveuse et sécheuse, WIFI, chaßne hi-fi, téléphone sans fil, TV satellite et lecteur DVD avec USB et écran de télévision. Dehors, il y a un barbecue à gaz et une table extérieure pour dßner au bord de la piscine.

La ville de Governors Harbour, la principale ville de l'Ăźle, est Ă  seulement 5 minutes de la propriĂ©tĂ© en voiture. Governors Harbour possĂšde des Ă©piceries, des restaurants, des magasins d'alcool, deux banques avec guichets automatiques, une boulangerie, des boutiques de cadeaux, une boutique de plongĂ©e et une clinique mĂ©dicale. Il a une belle petite collection de maisons et d'Ă©glises du 19Ăšme siĂšcle donnant sur un port pittoresque. Vous pouvez acheter du poisson frais et du homard chaque aprĂšs-midi auprĂšs d'un pĂȘcheur au quai de la ville. Vendredi soir, Fish Fry Ă  Governors Harbour est une fĂȘte de rue / plage qui rassemble tous les touristes et les habitants avec de la nourriture, des boissons et de la danse dans la rue. Vous ne voudrez pas le manquer.

Les restaurants haut de gamme en bord de mer dans la région comprennent Pascal au Sky Beach Club (cuisine internationale aux influences bahamiennes), Tippy's (international et fusion), The Buccaneer (cuisine bahamienne avec fusion caribéenne-chinoise), 1648 House et The Rainbow Inn (célÚbre pour son steaks et fruits de mer). Ces derniers ont tous de la musique live une ou plusieurs nuits par semaine, il y a donc des divertissements en direct quelque part à proximité presque tous les soirs. Great Family Vacation

The property was as advertised. A short walk to a fantastic beach. The house was well stocked and there was plenty of room for our family of four. The extra space in the pool house was great for our older teenager! I would highly recommend this house for anyone looking to take a family vacation!

Perfect romantic getaway

We had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful vacation home. It was incredibly private, with a serene pool and an outdoor shower that made every day feel like a tropical dream. The home was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable, carefree getaway. With three bedrooms, and a fully equipped guest cottage, it would be the perfect size for family or group of friends. We loved how close it was to local restaurants and stunning beaches—it couldn’t have been better located. Visiting during this time of year was ideal, and the romantic setting made it truly special. Misty made everything perfect! We can’t wait to come back!

Fabulous two weeks

We have rented homes in several parts of the world. This lovely home was a good place for a family of nine members to stay. It is bright and spacious. It has a great vibe. The kitchen is well equipped. The dining table seats 10 comfortably. The location is very good: a short walk to the beach and a short ride to town. It is very quiet. The beach itself became our favourite even though we visited several others. The swimming pool is a great diversion for children. Misty is very responsive. When we had water pressure problems, they were fixed immediately. She answered texts quickly and gave helpful advice even for our stay in Nassau. The house is at the point where it will need some renovations, taps are corroded and the decking should be replaced. The mattresses are small for two adults and soft except for the master bedroom. And the beds are very creaky. In all, though, we would come back.

Great lovation

We spent 3 weeks at the property and our stay was very good. We were able to visit 14 other beaches so this is a good spot to adventure from. Very private location and we were able to get to restaurants and grocery stores easily. I recommend this place.

It was an Amazing vacation and a great property. Miss Ruby's was a great house , with wrap around deck , pool house and pool . An amazing 5 min walk to the pink sand beach we walked on every morning. Governors Harbor was a wonderful place to stay. The locals were so friendly and gave great advice on what to see and do. We all want to come back already!

The house and property were lovely. The kitchen was well stocked. We were pleasantly surprised to see there were beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas supplied. The walk to the beautiful, quiet beach was easy and took only 5 minutes. The beach had a shaded area and full sun area. Just beautiful for snorkeling and swimming.

Clean, Simple and Convenient - Great Beach!

This is a sweet little hideaway on a great island. Every beach is gorgeous, but this one, at one end of French leave beach is nothing less than spectacular. This Atlantic beach has clear water and lots of coral. In addition, there is perfect natural pool where young children can play with very little surf. One of the best part of this house is the property manager, Misty. She is responsive, well informed, and capable -- that's a big plus!

Little slice of heaven

Miss Ruby did not disappoint. It is only a short easy walk from Miss Ruby to the most amazing beach in the world! Misty was there to meet us when we arrived and provided great recommendations. The house was just what we expected
private, clean, and well-equipped. The accommodations worked well for our family to spread out. The pool was refreshing and the beach cannot be beat! It is beautiful and we had it to ourselves almost every day. The water was perfect for a toddler to wade in or adults to swim out and enjoy deeper, clear Caribbean blue water. Be prepared for a few power flickers and spotty internet
all fine with us as we were there to unplug. We would definitely stay again.

Amazing 50th birthday week

Miss Ruby was amazing! We came here for a week long stay for my 50th birthday celebration. The house is very comfortable and worked wonderful for our configuration of guests. The beach is simply breathtaking. The walk is as described. I would recommend some more furniture on the porch, perhaps some ceiling fans out by the pool. AC unit in family room was finicky, but overall worked. Power outages occur almost daily, I can’t imagine the effects on electronics. The couch out by the pool was a favorite, if you can add another, that would be even better.

Great house

The house is clean and spacious. We had a family of five, plus another couple and there was more than enough space for the seven of us. We prepared most meals at the house and the kitchen was well-equipped. The pool is clean and we spent most of our time there. The soft white beach is a short walk or drive and the water is beautiful. This place is all about taking in the beauty and relaxing. The only adventure we took was a six hour boat ride to see the pigs, turtles and stingrays- which was great. The noseeums or some type of bug feasted on a couple of us in the group and didn’t bother the others. We will go back! Communication was good and when a couple small issues came up, they were quickly addressed.

The house lived up to its billing, and was more than comfortable for our family of four plus my father who joined us last minute for a couple of nights. The pool is super convenient and fun for the children. The upstairs rooms with en suite baths are large and accommodating. The downstairs bedroom does not have the same privacy as the upstairs rooms and guest cottage but is comfortable enough. Walk to the beach is quite easy, and the location is very private. The internet connection leaves something to be desired, but they were in the process of upgrading it while we were there.

Beautiful Miss Ruby

We stayed for 8 days at Miss Ruby. The property was beautiful! The wraparound deck was spectacular, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the guest house cozy and well appointed. The beds were comfortable and the ac worked super well. The Wi-Fi wasn’t working during our stay, and the internet in that area of the island isn’t great. Also, the little beach is unbelievably beautiful and private, and it takes only 5 mins to walk there. The larger beach, however, is around a rock outcropping that is tough to pass if the tide is up and/or the sea is rough (which it was constantly during our stay). We therefore couldn’t do beach walks (unless we wanted to drive to a different beach) or walk to Tippy’s (food isn’t great there anyhow FYI). The town of Governor’s Harbour is around 15 mins away by car. All in all, a beautiful property and a great place to go to get away from it all!

Misty, the house manager was super helpful in showing us around town and helping us with any questions we had. The beach is not quite as close as it seems in the picture, it is a 5 to 7 minute walk to the beach. Once at the beach is one of the most beautiful beaches we’ve ever seen! All the beds in the property could use a soft mattress topper, they were all hard. Tippy‘s restaurant is a fun environment and good food, it’s about a 25 to 30 minute walk on the beach, or a quick five minute drive. Buccaneers in town was great. Definitely do the fish fry on Friday night, was the highlight of our week!

Seculded oasis

The house was very nice and clean. We had a rough time due to a fire on the island right beside us. That was definitely not the home owner's fault in any way. We did want to move to another house farther down on the beach but were told there was nothing available but only in town which we did not want to stay in town as we came for the beach. The walk to the beach is not bad, but is around 7-8 minutes depending on how fast you walk. The house is stocked with beginning toilet paper and even laundry detergent, but we were informed after we were trying to use the stove that it was broke and to just go next door to the studio to use the oven. Definitely not idea as its very tiny. The fridge does not make ice just fyi you have to go buy ice but it will dispense it. The kitchen is fairly well stocked but nothing like a home owner would stock. I said a couple times, if they stayed here, they would realize the small items needed in the kitchen. The bed was decently comfortable in the master bedroom, but the couch is well overdue for extra fluffiness. But truthfully the privacy is amazing at the house. The house feels like a victorian house especially on the outside. So overall I would recommend this house. I won't be looking to stay at it again as it was very frustrating to not even be able to enjoy outside with the awful smoke for several days. We ended up having to leave the house the minute we got up to not have our eyes absolutely killing us for several days.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We choose this home due to its location and the size of our party which was 3 kids and 3 adults. Unfortunately the weather wasnt great and we spent evenings on top of eachother being there was only one tv in the living room and Wi-Fi didn’t work.. The pool was great for the kids being the weather wasn’t the greatest while we were there. We have been to the island 7 times so I have a few homes to compare it to for the value. We have 3 kids that had 10 days of school while we were on the island. The Wi-Fi didn’t not work at all so we had to go to the library in Governor’s Harbor for those ten days which wasn’t the end of the world but kind of a pain. We also run our own construction business in the states and access to internet is critical. We could only get service on our phones on banks road so my husband spent many hours out there working. When we checked in Misty did let us know that Wi-Fi was in and out. Had we known it wasn’t in working order we likely wouldn’t have rented as it was high on our needs list. A handful of days we were without power which made it hard for my husband and father to sleep being that they have sleep apnea machines. Again, not our property managers fault but we just had to roll with it. Other than that it was fine. I’d recommend this home to people who want to get away from their crowded city and be off the grid. The beach was great. Saw 4 sting rays hanging out. We did a lot of beach combing and looking at the homes on the beach.
