Bienvenue au On The Bay Resort, directement sur la mer des CaraĂŻbes!
Niché dans un paysage tropical luxuriant au rez-de-chaussée d'un complexe de bord de mer intimiste, ce condo récemment aménagé et trÚs spacieux (1600 pieds carrés) comprend trois chambres et trois salles de bains. Sur la baie # 103 est une alternative idéale à l'agitation de 7 Mile Beach et à seulement 10 minutes de Rum Point, sur le cÎté nord de l'ßle.

Étapes menant Ă  une grande plage privĂ©e et nager dans une crique creusĂ©e dans le rivage (chaussures d’eau recommandĂ©es). Faites de la plongĂ©e au tuba sur le rĂ©cif colorĂ© juste au large. Ou allez directement Ă  la porte de la piscine d'eau douce du complexe. Comme On The Bay est une petite station balnĂ©aire situĂ©e sur la paisible cĂŽte nord de Grand CaĂŻman, la plage et la piscine sont souvent agrĂ©ablement vides.


Cette vue sur l'océan / jardin, unité de rez-de-chaussée fournit un accÚs pratique à la piscine. Plus un patio entouré de plantes tropicales et de palmiers.

À l'intĂ©rieur de l'unitĂ© 103, vous trouverez un spacieux et moderne espace salon et salle Ă  manger. La chambre principale avec salle de bains offre un lit king-size; la 2Ăšme chambre a un lit queen et la 3Ăšme chambre a 2 lits jumeaux. Cela vous offre un hĂ©bergement confortable et privĂ© pour 6.

La cuisine immaculée est entiÚrement équipée avec tous les nouveaux appareils en acier inoxydable et tous les ustensiles dont vous avez besoin pour cuisiner votre propre collation délicieuse ou un repas gastronomique. Il y a une laveuse / sécheuse à l'intérieur de votre unité. Le patio a souvent une belle brise des Caraïbes. Si vous préférez cuisiner à l'extérieur, il y a un barbecue commun à On The Bay pour votre plaisir en plein air.

Everything was great outside of the private beach. Unfortunately, it was completely filled in and covered with sargassum. We let the property manager know and they sent a couple of guys to try to clean it up. But, it was too much for a two person job and the beach was completely unusable for the entire stay.

Great place great location

This is the second stay we have had at the On The Bay location with two different family groups. Our stay this time was as great as the last time. Everything is well provisioned. It is easy to get to. It is a fantastic location on the island away from the busier sections but with easily accessible groceries, liquor and restaurants, including a mini mart, liquor store and restaurant within easy walking distance. The condo has everything you need for beach outings or just some stay at home fun. It is close to Rum Point, which has great snorkeling out by the dock. Starfish point is not far away either, not to mention the public beaches too many to count. Highly recommend for an easy family getaway and some relaxation. Oh, and there is a pool just off the back deck that is excellent for kids and adults who may want a break from salt water and just chill for a while.

Relax at this hidden gem

Our group of 6 adults really enjoyed this hidden gemLoved that it was a 1st floor unit; Literally a minute from the patio to pool or lagoon. Loved that it was quieter property - only 12 units - could get a pool or beach chair at any time of day. Condo:Beds were comfie. Hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, TP, laundry soap provided. Kitchen was great. Only thing it was missing was a baking sheet. Fridge had ice maker which was much appreciated. We *loved* the big kitchen table - great for family meals and playing games. Condo had lots of beach items (towels, mask & flippers, pool noodles, floaties, etc.).Property:Loved the *heated* pool. Swam/floated in lagoon 2-3 times every day. Snorkeling in lagoon was surprisingly good - saw a variety of smaller fish as well as a porcupine fish, juvenile barracuda, etc. The ocean brings in trash to the far left side of lagoon but the rest of lagoon was fine. The groundskeepers clean up the trash and sargassum on beach every 1-2 days. Only issue we had was the communal charcoal BBQ didn't work well as the damper was rusted out. We used the electric grill in the condo to cook burgers and sausages instead.Area:-Loved that convenience & liquor store, gift shop & Caboose restaurant were only 7 minute walk away. -Also went to Crystal caves, Botanical garden, Starfish/Rum point, Over the Edge restaurant, etc. - all close byThank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us :-)

On the bay

Property was very nice and is located in a quiet part of the island. Excursions are easily accessible from the Rum Point area. If you are looking to get away from the busier area of seven mile beach this is the perfect location. The beach at the property was nice but the ocean was not usable during our stay due to high winds and waves on that area of the island. There is a small ocean pool that was usable and would be great for small children. Overall great time and excellent accommodation.

This property was amazing, definitely recommend. We loved the privacy of the condo association but also loved being close to attractions and places to eat. We basically had the pool to ourselves and the private cove of the ocean was a big hit with our 12 year old and his 74 year old grandpa. Despite being in the middle of tropical storm Sara this November the boys spent hours, days in the water (sometimes in the rain). We hit all the local spots after much research, the trip was perfect celebrating a milestone birthday. The place itself was 'as advertised' and had so many extras. Lots of spices for cooking, bug spray, hot pot (which we used every day), nice cooking accommodations, grill, charcoal, pool toys, beach chairs, fuzzy blanket, kitties to feed. Local management on site was attentive to our needs and communication was spectacular. It really was perfect, wish we could have stayed longer! I would definitely return.

Wonderful Experience!

This was a phenomenal place to stay. The private beach and lagoon were awesome with great snorkeling. The host was so responsive and always went above and beyond, especially our last day there. We will absolutely recommend this place to anyone who wants to spend some time in paradise!

Relaxing getaway!

Loved our stay at On the Bay! Excellent location away from all the hustle and bustle of George Town. We loved the private beach and pool. Accommodations fit our family of 5 perfectly.Kitchen had mostly everything we needed to make simple meals. No baking sheets to use in the oven but we improvised with foil. Plenty of bath and pool towels available. Definitely would stay here again!

Great phone away from Home

The condo is very spacious, clean, and well stocked with the basics. Beautiful property, secluded and well maintained. We learned from another condo owner that the pool is heated. A bit overkill and uncomfortable for July heat but am sure a very welcomed feature in the winter months. We love staying away from the crowds of 7 Mile Beach and still having access to good restaurants, diving, and things to do. We will definitely be back! Thank you Meg and housekeeping team. Well done.

Fantastic holiday

Our Condo at "On The Bay" was very spacious, clean and well appointed and suited our family requirements. For us the location both on the coast and near the Botanic Park was perfect. The gardens were beautifully planted and maintained. Everyone loved the pool. An early arrival by some of the family was kindly accommodated and we were helped promptly with a late query about the air conditioning. We had a marvelous time and would certainly return. Winter Getaway

Well maintained property. Lovely plantings. Neatly kept. The heated pool was VERY appreciated. A generous supply of loungers around the pool. The condo was modern and up to date. New applicances, thick towels, large supply of beach towels. The washer/dryer very handy and worked well. AC also never a problem. Location was right for us- quiet and not far from Rum Point. Best beach was Governor's Beach on Seven Mile Beach-crystal clear water of a dreamy blue color. Low surf but still refreshing. Best Restaurant was Ristorante Pappagallo. Enjoyed Tuttka's East End-extensive menu and fun feeding the Frigate Birds. Just an overall wonderful winter getaway.

So much fun

I was on this 5 day trip with my daughter and four sorority girls! We had a large time. The condo is about 50 minutes from the airport and stop at the second big Fosters grocery store near the Wendy’s. Stock up bc it’s a drive to there once you get to the condo and you won’t want to leave ! The food isn’t near as expensive as I thought it would be. The locals are wonderful, friendly and what a pleasantly safe island. The liquor stores are close by to the condo. The condo is big and larger than depicted! Plenty of space for all of us. We spent most days at the pool and in and out of the lagoon. The wind was strong so luckily the bushes block the pool area and without the lagoon there is no way we could have gotten into the ocean at the condos. The March winds were the only downfall. The lagoon is shallow and then gets deep enough that the girls could snorkel. All I could think of when I looked at the lagoon area was what an incredible spot for kids to play for days! The condo has rafts and some snorkel gear but I brought our own. The people at the condos were fun and easygoing- not minding a little music and full of info about the island. We went to rum point and walked among the starfish, went to seven mile beach and cemetery beach to snorkel, Keibo to eat as well as drinks and appetizers at Rum Point. Rum point has a gift shop also. The girls loved the condo pool/beach the best but we drove just a little to say we had been there! Thank you accurately depicting the condo on VRBO and I hope you get many more visitors from this review as you deserve it. Thanks again.

Perfect Family Getaway

My family of 5 really enjoyed our stay. My 12, 8, and 5 year old children had a fantastic time in the pool, and walking around on the barrier by the sea. It's away from the busy city side of GC, and is very peaceful in this area. I ran several miles at sunrise from the condo, and loved how quiet the area is. Make sure you make reservations if you are going to a sit down restaurant for dinner. Even for the restaurants that seem like you wouldn't need it on a weekday, it's standard to reserve a time. This was something we learned on our first night, and didn't have an issue after that. Everywhere we ate was amazing. Would highly recommend this area and this condo if you are going to Grand Cayman.

Perfect relaxing getaway

We loved staying at Old Man Bay! It was a perfect, QUIET location for our family. The condo was very spacious, and had everything we needed for our week-long stay. The beds were comfortable, there was a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of towels and linens, beach toys/"floaties" for the pool and best of all were the beautiful views from the patio. We spent as much time outside as we could. The condo is a little bit of a drive from the main 7 Mile Beach area, but that is what we were looking for, so it was not a drawback for us. We like to be out of the typical crazy tourist parts of town. We cooked most all of our meals at the condo, and spent our days relaxing at the pool or on the beach. We had rented a car, so we were able to drive ourselves around the island to see all of the sights ourselves! We took a couple of days throughout the week to drive to the West side of the island for an excursion, and also spent a day at Cemetery beach. The one and only thing I would caution is for families visiting with very small children, (our daughter is only 17 months old): the little beach inlet area was perfect other than the 5 or 6 foot steep hill down to the actual waters edge. The pictures make it look as if the beach/sand is just a flat walk out to the water, but that is not the case currently. From the pool, you walk straight out on the sand, but then there is a drop down to the actual water. Our little one could not handle that hill on her own. Even with that being the case, I would still highly recommend this location. I am more stating this as a heads up for families with little ones. Our daughter ended up hating the sand altogether, so we landed at the pool all week which was just as amazing and still able to take in all the beautiful views. :) We would highly recommend renting this property to anyone visiting Grand Cayman, and will gladly stay again if/when we return.

Really windy on North side and a 30 minute trip to good shopping and better restaurants.

Got complaints about light music not loud by pool area around 1:00 pm till 3:00 pm. Told us to tone it down and right after that maintenance came threw with a real loud leaf blower. Way louder than any music we we’re playing. Really surprised by this because if you go to any resorts they play music by pool area in the afternoon.
