Request elevator if not on ground floor. Room allocated was only accessible by stairs. Asked for pina colada at bar bar tender rudely stated we don’t do cocktails. Pointed out ingredients on shelves behind her she repeated we don’t do cocktails ordered oj and beer asked to charge to room. Bar staff said you can’t do that you must pay now. So rude. Was swapped to room with elevator access. Bed had hairs in it. Everythad layer of dust covering it. Shame because with decent staff Ryan’s good cleaning would have been great. Don’t like anyone being rude to me when I’m the polite customer.

I booked an economy room, so I had no problem with the fact that it was smaller and serviced by a lift. However, having music blasting out from downstairs from 7 am and a poor-quality mattress lets the hotel down a little.

Didn't have breakfast The food in the restaurant isn't very good Chicken supreme potatoes under cooked and swimming in olive oil; all dishes under seasoned Fish and chips terrible , chip hard and overcooked fish batter also not food it shattered on my plate revelling over cooked small fish service was great needs to improve

Excellent staff went out of their way to help. However not really dog friendly, totally understand that dogs not allowed into restaurant and normally quite happyvto eat in the bar, but only one table really suitable to eat at. If you were not lucky enough enough to get this then you either had to sit at a very small table just big enough for 2 plates that was at knee hight so not very relaxing or you had the large very comfy sofas and a small coffee table again not ideal to eat at. Also a lot of complaints at how hot the restaurant was whith people not wantingvto eat there so making the bar more crowded. Even the staff were embarrassed to serve people at these tables. However the rest of the stay was great, room was large and clean, only one very flat pillow per person was unusual, I would have preferred either a larger one or small ones.

Room was fine,….staff helpful even though it was Christmas holidays. - Unfortunately, though understandably, the pool and Spa were closed fora couple of days. Hotel was peaceful enabling a relaxed time away.

Swimming pool was great. Sadly the jacuzzi wasnt working and although the sauna & steam rooms were working, there was no light or timer in the steam room. Changing rooms were freezing cold. Not nice especially with a child.

Room was in the attic up lots of stairs, the room was small with no radiator only a very noisy fan heater, the fan in the bathroom sounded like a plane taking off. The only toiletries for two people for two nights was a small vile of bath/shower gel. The keys didn’t work and when I asked for more toiletries I was told they would be placed in the room when it was cleaned. We were out all day only to return to a room that had not been cleaned and no toiletries were put in the room. The hotel is very dated and service very poor. I spend around £6k on hotels per year with business and pleasure. I could never recommend this hotel to anyone even the people I don’t like. I have had better stays in a Holliday inn.

Thin walls, super loud when in the room. You could hear all the conversations and people walking past your room. Room was incredibly disappointing. Poor bed, tiny bathroom, so small you had to have the door open to use the toilet. Very small shower. I have stayed at around 50 hotels this year and this is in with the worst.

Room was very clean, if run down. View from window was over the golf course, so very quiet at night, and we could open a window. Plenty of very hot water for the shower. Minuses, we were really disappointed with the reception staff who we considered bordering on rude. We were not told about having to request a room makeup when we checked in, and when I complained I was just told to read the welcome letter, which when we did look at the paper holding our room key cards, there was no mention of having to request it. We were ignored many times, especially when we checked out. Just basic courteous behaviour we experience in other hotels. In the bar we felt an inconvenience, as staff member was talking to other residents when we walked in. Beautiful building lacking soul from the staff.
