❌ Very Disappointing Experience – Not the Hilton Standard
Our stay at Hilton Bali Resort Nusa Dua was extremely disappointing and far below what we expect from a five-star Hilton property.
From the beginning, the welcome was mediocre. On our first day, when we returned from an excursion in the evening, we found that our room had not been cleaned at all. Trash bins were full and had attracted ants, which were crawling throughout the room. Attempts to reach reception by phone were unsuccessful. When my son went to speak directly to the Duty Manager, her attitude was aggressive and inappropriate. Instead of apologizing, she suggested it might be our fault and spoke about conducting an “investigation,” which was unacceptable.
Housekeeping eventually came, but the ant problem was not resolved. My 12-year-old daughter was very frightened, and I had to deal with the remaining ants myself.
The following evening, a glass water bottle (the hotel provides drinking water in glass bottles) fell and shattered in the bathroom while my daughter was showering. Broken glass was everywhere, and she could not exit safely. Once again, reception did not answer for approximately 15–20 minutes. I had to collect the broken glass myself to make the bathroom safe and slightly injured myself in the process.
Although the bathroom was cleaned the next morning, the cleaning was dangerously incomplete. Later, my son attempted to take a bath and felt glass fragments against his back when he sat in the b
