Check in was not as smooth as other Vrbo we have stayed in. The host did not give us check-in info until 4:05. I guess she was afraid we would be there early. Also the windows were very dirty and my granddaughters feet were black after walking barefoot in the house. The front landscaping needs trimming and the front door outside light did not work, even after we tried a new lightbulbOther than that, it worked well for our stay in Oakhurst
We had a very comfortable at the property. The host equipped us with everything needed. Its cleaned and organized. We would definitely come in the near future and would definitely recommend it.
The home gave us the opportunity to enjoy nature prior to head out to Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks. It was spacious, clean and had all of the amenities of home. We enjoyed seeing some wildlife in the morning sitting outside and drinking tea.
We enjoyed thecomfort the place offers. It was perfect for our group to stay and enjoy a good night rest and be ready for our big hike. The place had all the amenities we needed. We just wished that we had had more time to enjoy it.
We spent two nights at Sugarhill and had a great time. The house felt very homey and warm. Having central AC was awesome. There is a fully stocked kitchen with pots and pans and a coffee bar. Beds were comfortable and the showers had nice hot water. My dog wanted to stay and live there. I think he thought this was our new home. There was everything for a comfortable stay.
We had a wonderful stay. We checked in really late, but they were so accommodating. The kitchen was amazing, with everything we needed. The living room was really stylish, and the room was spacious and comfortable.
Stayed as part of our Half Dome hike. Beautiful place around 25 minutes from Yosemite entrance. Lots of space and amenities. Doggies enjoyed it. Great communication from Brittany as well. Would love to stay again.
Our first impression was not great. The property landscapping is not well maintained. A lot of overgrown bush in front and back. There was also a huge pile of wood planks that was trash.
When we entered the property the house smelled musky and there were numerious spider webs on the staircase and lights. The couches were also filled with dog hair. I contacted the manager immediately to express our disappointment and she was very reponsive. The next day someone came by to clean up.
The house has a lot of potential. There are 2 bedrooms downstairs that can accommodate 4 people. Upstairs is the main living area. It has a nice size kitchen and dinning space. Living room has tv with surround sound. The game area has books, a computer, and a large amount of board games. There is 2 more medrooms upstair as well as 3 bathrooms with showers and a tub.
The inside of the house needs to be painted and the shower in the master has rust stains.
The house has a lot of living space and worked for my family if 5. It is only 12 mins from the Pines resort in Bass Lake and 30 mins from Yosemite. We did see deer, turkeys and quail while staying there which was a highlight for my kids.
We enjoyed our stay here while we were visiting Yosemite National Park. The AC worked great, which helped with the high temperatures in the afternoon and evening.
The kitchen was well stocked with good pans, utensils, dishes, spices, and other basics.
As we first drove up, a family of quail were hurrying across the driveway. We saw birds and deer right on the property. We also enjoyed looking at the stars from the deck.
We used the washer and dryer and they worked well, and there was always enough hot water. The internet also worked well, and it was nice to have that with limited cell service in the area.
We didn't have any major complaints, and the hosts were responsive to messages before and during our stay.
