It was in a loud area, couldnât open the windows in bedroom it was ground level and unsafe area.
It was hot, the fans didnât work, they brought new fans, then the fuses blew. Response time was next day for each issue we had. It was a pretty rundown space, with uncomfortable beds, bedding, and towels. Would not recommend staying here
The unit was quiet despite being on a busy street, very clean, had everything we needed, and was close to campus for our gathering. VERY responsive and accomodating to phone call requests. They allowed us to drop off luggage early and solved a heating problem the day we called. Plus there is a great coffee shop within walking distance
The unit's main value is its location -- just a short walk to all the main places, including downtown and the university. And the place itself had most of the basics, with the chief exceptions of a dishwasher (meaning hand-washing in a tiny sink), an oven (despite one being listed) and functioning heating system. Although ground level, the unit had a distinct basement feel, with a concrete floor plastered with warning stickers that resembled a factory. The sink is a small wheel-in portable and the stove is a two-burner plug-in with copious warnings (omitted from pictures) not to use more than one appliance at a time. The laundry unit is outside in the weather and the dark (despite being listed as "in the laundry room" -- it's actually the shed you can see in the "exterior" photo). The rental unit was also quite loud, both from the high-speed traffic whizzing by the bedroom window and folks upstairs who did a fair bit of stomping and banging.
