Casa Lidia is an amazing place to stay! The location is great. The staff goes above and beyond. The breakfast was just incredible! Choices were available and everything was made fresh daily. Casa Lidia is absolutely wonderful. Senora Flor and Tonio are incredible hosts and the rest of the staff kind and make a wonderful breakfast - honestly a highlight of my food experience. Room is clean, homey, comforting, good sleep and ambient. The building is beautiful in a nice neighborhood and nice and quiet. I was taking a Spanish intensive and it was the perfect base to do coursework and then explore the city. You will get recommendations from Flor and a map and I highly recommend chatting and learning more - she shared a Carnival happening the weekend I was there and it was amazing!
