Nice week in family

We had a nice week in this warterfront house with our 2 daughters. 5 minutes walking to the ocean and pool. Easy to find anything you need at proximity. The deck is really amazing and quiet. The house offers good equipment and space

Affordable place on a canal just a couple blocks from the beach.

This is the second time we've stayed here and it suits our needs perfectly. The kitchen/dining area is a good size and having the living room right there gives you a nice open great room feel for family and friends to gather. We're not a big fan of the bunk bed in one of the rooms but I understand why its there for increased occupancy. The master bedroom on the back of the unit will get warm if you leave the curtain open during the day, but so long as you keep it closed it is fine. There are plenty of chairs for the deck and a good size picnic table for outdoor gatherings. There is also an enclosed shower outside which is nice for cleaning off after the beach, or for an extra shower when you have a large group. I exclusively use the outdoor shower for the novelty of showering under the sun lol. Bikes and kayaks are a nice added benefit. Our only complaint is having to bring our own sheets for the beds but if it keeps the costs down then I'll gladly do that.

Awesome location!

Property location is perfect location for restaurants, park, pool, groceries, and especially the beach. Excellent view of Sunday evening fireworks all summer long! Although this is an older property, effort has been made to make living space comfortable.

Great week in Ocean City

Lovely, comfortable vacation home. Everything was even better than described. We had a problem with the AC, which was corrected in less than 24 hours. The owner and property manager were very attentive. Location to beach, shopping, restaurants was perfect. We walked to Northside park for music and fireworks. Bikes and kayaks were an added bonus. The outside shower was also a fun fearure. Loved every minute.

Inadequate AC made stay less than ideal

The place was bearable but the inadequate AC could not cool the place down. Would not recommend this place to anyone staying here if temps are over 90. Only way we were comfortable here was to open windows the whole time. AC was useless. Kitchen floor felt like it was caving in while walking on it. Doors were hard to close. These are the only gripes I had. Other than that place had some extras that made the place fun. Kayaks, bikes, crab traps, etc made the stay fun for the wife and kids.

Perfectly Quiet Family Getaway

This is the first time we stayed bayside in OCMD and it was definitely worth it. It was quiet and perfect for my husband and I and our two kids. There were actually days the kids asked if we could “just stay home” and “hang out at the house”. The pool is an awesome amenity and the walk to the beach isn’t bad at all. The availability of the kayaks was really awesome and we even got out on the Bay to see the sunset on night. We had a fantastic time!

Quiet and spacious - perfect for family

The property is exactly as advertised. It was clean and quiet and had enough room for our small family of three to spend time together or spread out and have time to ourselves. Everything was in great condition. There was a full propane tank connected to the grill and a storage shed with additional amenities beyond the listing. We were within walking distance to the beach and to restaurants and were also within walking distance to a quaint boardwalk within Montego Bay where we had a beautiful view of the sunset over Assawoman Bay.

Beautiful vacation!

The property was very nice we were very pleased! We were a little disappointed that there was no public boat launch in or near the community so we couldn’t keep our fishing boat in the canal. We were too far from the boat launch to drive the boat back to the canal. To be fair, we didn’t ask prior to our trip. Also, if you want to avoid crazy traffic check local events before booking. We couldn’t have been happier with the property and the service!

Awesome stay

It was a very clean place, quiet neighborhood especially compared to the southern part of Ocean City. Best perks was stores, restaurants, park, pool were all walking distance or a very very close drive. The real big plus, we were right on the canal and to top it off, was the use of the two kayaks they had. Only down side was when we were there, the grille didn't work. But I still give this place a 5 out of 5 star rating.

Great little place in a great location.

We really enjoyed our stay. The well-equipped kitchen, large dining table, and large picnic bench under the awning outdoors were perfect for larger groups. Bedrooms were a decent size and having two bathrooms was a nice bonus. The outdoor shower was perfect after a long day on the beach or bay. The only thing I'd change would be better deck furniture, better mattresses, and deck access from the master bedroom.

Beach Time

PRO: Location of property was a short walk to the Beach - Swimming Pool - Ball Fields. Shopping was available nearby. Restaurants and points of interest including the Boardwalk were a short drive away. Quiet neighborhood. CON: Property had a nice grass side yard which would have been good for Corn Hole or other lawn games except the grass was not cut for at least a week prior to our arrival nor during our stay. Property contained 2 TV sets - big screen in living room and smaller set in one of the bedrooms. Even though it was listed as an amenity there was no cable setup. In order to watch anything we had to program in our personal NetFlix codes. Property Manager thought everything was already set up. This should have been verified prior to our arrival. It would have been nice to view local news and weather. Beds were over-sized for the room area available....beds were butted up against the wall making getting in and out of bed extremely cumbersome.

Great, relaxing week!

The only issue was the cost on VTBO quote being 88 dollars different than the actual cost once we checked in, but it wasn't a huge deal. We enjoyed it so much we ended up staying an extra night. We were close to everything but still had privacy and quiet evenings. My husband caught a few crabs off the dock. There is a grill on the patio.

A Lovely Place in a Nice Neighborhood

This is a nice place for the money. Everything works as it should. The master bedroom has a sliding glass door overlooking the canal, the kitchen/dining room has a huge table that easily sits eight people, and the living room has two large coaches and a big TV. The mattresses and couches were not as comfortable as we were hoping for, and there was no dishwasher, but for the money it was fine. The beach, pools and shops were a short walk away. The neighborhood was very nice and perfect for families.
