Where do I start??? Upon arrival the code to the garage did not work. Fortunately after trying a very simple code â1234â, it worked.
The entry to the property was very uninviting and dirty. The cleaning was not done and the âwelcome kitâ of toiletries was not there. I would have packed some to at least get started but I was told there would be soaps, shampoos, conditioner, TP, paper towels, etc. NOTHING! I had to spend unnecessary time going to the store on my first day. The grill I was told was there was not there and had to request one multiple times. When one arrived, it was charcoal and the guy did not know how to put it together so my husband had to. Doors did not open, toilets did not flush properly, lamps did not work, TVâs in the bedroom did not work. The couches in the living room needs to be replaced as it is worn and stained. The mattress in the first floor bedroom was more like a hammock. I never once had any communication with the property owner, only Vacasa and that was very poor as well. Maintenance didnât show up until the day before we left.
Overall I feel as though the property owner has zero interest in maintaining his/her property and Vacasa does not do a good job of checking the property after each renter to report items to the owner to address. Clearly the owner is not concerned about ensuring the guests have a wonderful stay. Itâs purely all about the income. I would NEVER return to this property and would not recommend it to anyone.
