The house is clean and beautiful. It has many large windows giving you views all around. We enjoyed the bikes that were provided and the guys loved the pool table. The beds were comfortable. The pool was small but clean. We prefer this end of the island because there is less traffic.

Thanksgiving Trip - 13 People

Lots of things to say about this place. It wasn't a horrible trip. It just wasn't typical of what we're used to and we've stayed at multiple VRBOs. First, Foster was great. (Property manager) Upon our arrival, we did have some issues getting in the door. It was a strange lock. We ended up getting in. There was a dead crab on the floor, which made me wonder when was the last time it was cleaned. Nowhere on the VRBO listing did it indicate that certain things weren't included, like shampoo/conditioner/body wash. There was only 1 TP roll per bathroom, no paper towels or trash bags (this was corrected by Foster via a text) Not one extra blanket in the place. My almost 90-year old grandmother gets cold - but there was not one single extra blanket in the whole place. No extra pillows. Nothing. So she sat with a jacket on most of time. Never stayed at rental that didn't have an extra set of blankets/pillows, etc. One of our kids wanted to sleep on the couch. No extra blanket or pillow. We had to make due. Convection oven. Never used one before so of course we thought it was broken. Instructions would be nice on something like this to avoid panic - esp on a Thanksgiving trip. Just minor headaches here and there which I feel like could have been avoided. Not as fully stocked a kitchen as other places I've stayed. A perk I was unaware of were the bikes in the garage. Other than the flat tires, they were an amazing thing to have and we really enjoyed them.

Refuge during a tropical storm

Booked Casa Blanca as a family reunion beach trip of a total of 12 of us. 6 kids and 6 adults. Unfortunately, tropical storm Debbie poured buckets of rain and high winds on us all week. Luckily, the house stood tall and was a great place to be stuck at with family. We made the most of it and the house was impressive. Location was ideal if we would’ve went to the beach regularly. We ate in quite a bit and the kitchen was fantastic for prepping meals. I would definitely consider going back again to Casa Blanca.

6 bedrooms?

House is new, still clean and location is good. However, description of the house does not adequately describe the “sixth bedroom”. The two sets of bunk beds are in this bedroom. It’s location is downstairs, with no air-conditioning (other than a portable air conditioner) and no bathroom! Only one of my three grandsons would agree to sleep down there. He had to deal with a nightly invasion of insects, including crabs and grasshoppers! I WOULD NOT advise using this bedroom for young children. The portable air conditioner did a poor job of keeping it cool, and the only way to access the elevator is through this room. Had I realized the reality of the situation, I would not have booked that particular house!! If a sixth bedroom is essential, consider carefully!!

Great Week!

The house was fantastic! New construction always comes with a few odds and ends as the house settles, but nothing worth mentioning. Beach access was a short cart ride away, and the view out of the back of the house is great!
