Three days of great family fun.

Mermaid Manor was overall better than I anticipated. The place was more spacious than the pictures let on. That's unusual - often it is the opposite. The bedrooms had ample space and that added to the overall functionality of the condo. The kid's bunk room with two trundles had a ton of floor space which was great. There was not enough dining space for us as the patio cushions were wet from rain. But somehow it didn't seem to be a problem. Really easy beach access made running things back and forth so simple. And the pool was great, a break from the intense heat of the beach and a chance to play together. Overall this was just what we had hoped for as we gathered with 7 adults and five kids. Each bedroom had it's own bathroom which was a fantastic situation. The kitchen was very well stocked. We lacked for nothing. For a group our size the fridge space was limiting but we brought two really good coolers and were able to use them as extended refridgeration. I'd recommend that for a group of more than 6 folks. We will hopfully go back to Mermaid Manor for years to come!

Made for a large family

The condo was great for our large family of parents, 4 adult children, spouses and grandchildren. Kitchen was stocked with lots of extra. Just a quick walk thru the garage and you’re at the water. I purchased a broom to fight the never ending sand battle but would suggest maybe add a broom to the condos.

It’s a very nice place to stay and can accommodate a large family. Cleanliness was top notch. My only complaint would be the queen bed mattress wasn’t comfortable. However, I would definitely stay again.

Golf trip

The place was really clean and beds were soft. The rental company is really great, responds instantly no matter the time. Now the view at this place is literally the parking lot so keep that in mind but it was perfect for us. There is a very easy access point and it’s only a short distance from the house. I definitely would stay here again. Is toward the end so means you get some distance from other people too which is nice.

Nine family members enjoyed the week at Mermaid Manor. Location to the beach is very close, the length of a football field to sand. There was ample room in the condo for the whole family. This was our second stay in this condo.

This was a great house for our multiple family vacation. Each bedroom had its own bathroom which gave each family some privacy while sharing the common space. We prepared meals and enjoyed the beach and pool!

Enjoyable Stay with Minor Inconvenience

I recently had the opportunity to stay at a beach house through VRBO, and overall, it was a delightful experience. However, there was one minor issue that affected my sleep quality and needs improvement. Let's start with the positives. The cleanliness of the rooms was exceptional, and I appreciated the effort put into maintaining a pristine environment. The property management team also deserves credit for their efficient communication and making the entire process hassle-free. Accessing the property was straightforward, ensuring a smooth arrival and departure. Despite these positives, there was one particular aspect that detracted from an otherwise fantastic stay—the king-size mattress cover. Regrettably, it produced a squeaky noise every time I moved during sleep, causing frequent disturbances. This continuous irritation prevented me from fully enjoying the comfort and tranquility that I had expected. While I understand that minor inconveniences can occur, I believe that replacing or fixing the mattress cover would significantly enhance future guests' experiences. A quiet and peaceful sleep is crucial for a memorable vacation, and addressing this issue would undoubtedly contribute to overall guest satisfaction. In summary, my stay at the beach house was enjoyable, with the exception of the squeaky king-size mattress cover. I encourage the hosts to address the mattress cover issue to ensure an even better experience for future guests.

The overall stay was great, we love having our own bathroom for each bedroom. We would also need a guest bathroom on the main floor.

Mermaid Beach time🌊

We enjoyed the mermaid, our family comes every Labor Day! Usually we rent a 6 bedroom with larger living space but we managed,some set on bean bags! Mermaid kitchen was stocked very well nice pots, we cook!

Overall, a positive experience, facilities as advertised, but ... 1. Key code did not work. It is not internet controlled. Quickly fixed by realtor after I found their phone number (Difficult to do. No internet if you can't get inside!) 2. Clean, but kitchen reeked of fish. 3. No chairs in two bedrooms. 4. Livingroom furniture not comfortable. 5. Entry stairs and shower/baths not safe for the elderly. (Me and my Wife,) 6. I missed the ocean view. (There is none.)

Great location, unfortunately there was a bad odor in the unit and a couple pieces of furniture were broken when we arrived. Nice unit though and plenty of room and had everything we needed for our stay.
