Over all pretty good experience. For a beachfront home that can sleep up to 10-12 people and excepts dogs. It served its purpose. Hot tub was great. Only complaints i really have. There was coffee grounds all over the coffee pot/ machine. Empty beer can in fire pit amd another under the back deck that i had to pick up so i didnt get blamed for it also. Previous occupants or someone drew a dick on the bathroom mirror so when i got out the shower it was the size of the whole mirror. Laughed it off but then again i also dont want to get blammed or charged and had to clean it. Though feel like the price could be cheaper. I would stay again.

We enjoyed this cabin stay. The cabin is as described. Host was responsive to my questions. The layout worked well for our group. The bedroom with the privacy curtain has the entrance to a common bathroom that is shared between the curtain room and the bedroom with the two beds, you walk thru the curtain room to get access to the two beds. From this cabin location there is easy access to the town and the beach.

The host was very welcoming and helpful. The amenities were great. Lots of cookware, dishes etc. The hot tub was a great feature and beds very comfortable. From a contractor’s family view we weren’t sure where to focus our eyes as the house is not level. Even frig doors weren’t put on level. Lots of laughs, giggles and head shaking. Good times!

The house was pretty clean. Took a while for the house/rooms warm up but it’s a non issue. The host was very responsive, even through the Thanksgiving evening. They accommodated our 3 dogs request.

Things we liked: path to the beach, huckleberry cobbler made from berries picked along the beach trail, fire ring, hot tub, well-stocked kitchen, puzzles and games, beach toys, high chair, pack-n-play (but it needs a sheet)Didn’t like: smell of the rug (dog?), small steps into some bedrooms (stubbed toes!), bathroom smells like sewer, wonky floor plan—walk through one bedroom to get to another

The house definitely had a musty smell when we first arrived. We aired it out right away. The carpet appears quite old and I am guessing is part of the smell issue. Carpet does not seem to be the sanitary option for VRBO's, and this one is quite long/shag type. We actually wore socks around the house. The window sill in the bathroom had a lot of grime and mold, as well the shower curtain. Definitely could use a deep clean all over (cobwebs hanging from ceiling, dirty corners in bathrooms, etc). The yard is overgrown and needs to be mowed, as well as some general outdoor maintenance - there are blackberry bushes growing up by the front of the house as well as through the back porch. There is a broken limb on the tree in the back yard just hanging from the tree. There was a broken chair on the back porch.The house was well stocked with a ton of games which my kids loved. The kitchen was well stocked even with foil and saran wrap which was appreciated since we forgot Tupperware. Thankful for the washer and dryer. The hot tub was a major plus. They let us check in about 30 min early which was helpful based on our arrival time. The host checked in the morning after check in to make sure things were going well.Overall I would stay here again - it is a big house with a lot of space, love that it has four bedrooms.Would love to see some work done on it, it could be a really cute house!!

Great spot for a weekend getaway with friends

We had a lovely time at the house. The beds were super comfortable and each of us got our own private space. We enjoyed walking on the beach and a couple of the restaurants within walking distance.

Great little beach place

Place is in the heart of town so you will see some characters, but that is the charm of Ocean Shores! Already have our next trip back out there planned. The fully fenced back yard is a must for us and our toddler. Made it extra relaxing.

Great home close to the ocean!!

We had a blast. We loved the home. It's an older home but very well kept clean and there is a lot of room. It's about a 7 to 10 minute walk throught the dunes to the beach. The home is well stocked with essentials. We really enjoyed the hot tub. We were visited by several deer and that was a lot of fun for our kids. Its very close to shopping, restaurants and a park. Over-all we enjoyed our stay very mucj and would recommend it! The owner was kind and communicative. :)

Comfortable Stay with Minor Issues - Great Service!

We recently stayed at the Beachfront Cabin in Downtown with a Hot Tub and overall, our experience was very good. The TV in the living room initially did not have working batteries, and we could not locate spares on the first day. However, we eventually found them near the coffee maker drawer. We encountered an issue with the coffee maker as we couldn't find the K-Pod adapter for single-cup brewing and resorted to using the full pot instead. On a positive note, the property was well-stocked with supplies and snacks, and we appreciated the abundance of clean linens and towels. The bedrooms and bathrooms were exceptionally clean, and the hot tub was a highlight once we found the key for the padlock. We found a welcome binder tucked away, which was helpful, though the cleanliness of the couch was disappointing. We found crumbs, sand, and dirt between the cushions, which suggested that the cleaning crew might be overlooking this area. Despite this, the overall cleanliness of the house was commendable, considering its frequent use. The backyard is beautiful and well-maintained, providing a great space for our two dogs to play. However, the property is very close to the Comfort Inn, which impacts privacy, especially around the hot tub and bonfire areas. This wasn't an issue for us but could be for those seeking more seclusion. We found the house a bit challenging to keep warm in colder weather, despite the avail
