Wonderful trip to Ocean Springs! Loved that we could walk to food, drinks, entertainment. Ease of access was amazing, parking very good. Great staff, very clean. A very special place; we will be back! Very enjoyable.
The Springs Hotel is a contemporary two story hotel right in the middle of Ocean Springs. There is minimal to almost no involvement with the staff; you have to call them if you need them.
I didnât notice on their website, that there is no elevator to the second floor, the stairs are a single long staircase- a challenge with luggage.
The room I was in had a window in the eve, but no window a eye level, kinda claustrophobic.
This hotel is beautiful, clean, and charming. The staff was so kind and made check in and getting into our room so easy. We couldnât be more thankful to find this gem.
Could not have had a lovelier stay at The Springs. We loved having a private entrance in the Mistletoe Suite and walking right out our front door into our car. There were some friendly, well cared for neighborhood cats who would always greet us too. The rain head shower, comfortable bed and living area had us feeling very relaxed. Could have stayed for a week!
Hotel is amazing. Great location. Short walk into town and close to beach area. The outside sitting area was nice to sit out and enjoy a nightcap. Have already booked another stay for December.
When I booked the room on hotels.com it said there would be âchampagne serviceâ. No other wording. I guessed that meant weâd have something on arrival at hotel. Itâs the one thing they leaned me away from two other high end hotels in Ocean Springs. There was nothing. Messaged the hotel a query on what champagne service was and 5 days later no response.
Comfortable room, very comfortable bed, nice bathroom but based on the lack of response from hotel I will make a different choice when I stay in OS next.
The check in was definitely not user-friendly as there is no one at the facility for you to do a check in through. The room smelled musky and moldy. They were dirty linens thrown on the floor behind the chair near the window. The bed had grit in it and hairs unfortunately, spending the amount of money we spent to stay in this boutique motel we will expected a lot higher standard on the cleanliness of the room. I will not give it zeros because Iâm not that person, but I will never give it a higher than a three star or anything and I will never stay at it again
Overall we really loved the property, room, and surrounding area. It was not clear that the code to get into the hotel was the same for the room. I also could not remember which room was mine. I attempted to both text and call for further instructions and never received a response. Fortunately, we figured it out. I never saw any employees of the hotel on the property either. The room was beautiful but I don't understand why there are curtains outside of the room that would allow someone to look in. That should be corrected because for two women traveling, we did not feel secure.
This is my second year staying at The Springs Hotel. I plan to make it an annual event. I am a single lady and I feel so safe, not to mention the convenience of being able to walk to shopping, dining, and the beach. The hotel itself is beautiful and makes me feel like I am surrounded in luxury!
Liked the uniqueness of the place, felt like a quaint bed and breakfast. Guest book in the room that was a nice touch and allowed you to meet others whobhad visited the hotel. Awesome location, walkable to everything but on a quiet end of the street. As others have said, the almost sky light windows do allow the sun to really shine through in the morning but i sleep in sn eye mask so it wasnt a problem but be prepared. Property very nicely done. Although there was no front desk, there was someone onsite most of the time, and the response was very quick. Would highly recoomend.
